QUOTE(ainuddin @ Jan 21 2013, 12:07 AM) those cheap macro lenses are quite good, the harder to find are the zoom ones. taobao got, but all fixed zoom, no adjustments can be made by the user. And that's when the manual focus function of CameraPro and ProShot app becomes useful. I wanted to have more variety so i purchased both apps, since their overall rating was good. I already have the macro + fisheye lens. This post has been edited by EXkurogane: Jan 21 2013, 12:13 AM

Actually, im thinking that this kind of lens might work on Lumia? But some modifications are needed to mount the phone to the tripod, if you are into DIY like me. The first is to get a 2nd hard cover if you only have one for the Lumia, i guess you guys should get my idea. http://www.lelong.com.my/samsung-galaxy-s3...13-01-Std-P.htm

QUOTE(ainuddin @ Jan 21 2013, 12:17 AM) can it do zooming while recording video? and they zoom further than the stock video recorder zoom? I havent tried that, but i assume it is a no. But future updates might add this feature. Im more of a photo guy and i never recorded videos with my phone before.

QUOTE(thesun @ Jan 21 2013, 01:47 AM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « is this normal? tomorrow gonna buy my lumia.. hopefully can get non black color.. if i tak puas hati, can ask for another unit on the spot right? i mean, before pay money la. That is normal, because of the spring in the OIS camera (which is only found in Lumia 920). This post has been edited by EXkurogane: Jan 21 2013, 02:03 AM

QUOTE(thesun @ Jan 21 2013, 02:09 AM) one more thing to ask, when walk in to nokia store, can i just buy the phone and setup the phone myself at home? cos i read that this phone during 1st setup, needs and internet connection.. I set up my phone directly in store without internet for the basic stuff - the rest that require internet like app store and other accounts, can be done later at home.

QUOTE(marauderz @ Jan 21 2013, 07:56 AM) Cut SIM has been associated with some of the instability problems. I recommend that you don't cut the SIM. I cut my sim on the spot in Nokia store, nothing wrong so far It worked immediately even the first time the sim card is put into the phone after cutting. Slide in the sim card into something that looks like a stapler, then just snap, easy. This post has been edited by EXkurogane: Jan 21 2013, 08:27 AM

QUOTE(sumtuckieeeee @ Jan 21 2013, 01:33 PM) Yeah. is it totally seals? just want to confirm. another thing is that do u guys thing the next batch will come with protico update? Went to Nokia Gardens ytd they stated that there wasnt any Red that came this round. Maybe next round. you reckon it'll come with protico update? I was pretty sure mine is new lol. I ordered in early december, and on 21st December, the store havent called me yet but i went to gurney early to lepak. Checked out the store, they said havent arrive. 1 hour later they call me saying arrived already and i head to the store right away. And, the box isnt sealed, but on startup the phone is asking for all kinds of configurations which means it has never been switched on before.

QUOTE(PeeEl @ Jan 21 2013, 04:12 PM) Yes but you must use a SIM card adapter. After cutting my normal sim into micro sim, the remaining "frame" i keep it. I tried pushing the micro sim into the frame that was cut out, then put the whole sim card into other phones that use normal sim, and it still works.

QUOTE(thesun @ Jan 21 2013, 05:08 PM) still not found.. the file got accepted via bluetooth transfer, but cant find. Sometimes files received by bluetooth take a few minutes to show up in the music player, i did notice that. Maybe u can try closing the music player app then open it again by spamming the back button.

QUOTE(GKWong @ Jan 21 2013, 05:16 PM) bluetooth file transfer got some major issue which it saves those files received into some folders that we cant access. For mp3, and videos, you might still be able to copy it out or delete it with Windows Phone App, but for some other file types it will be forever hidden inside the phone until you hard reset it. I told this issue to Microsoft Windows Phone chat support before, but they told me this is not an issue Enable the viewing of "hidden files" in your folder options on your computer, and more folders appear in the music folder under mass storage mode.

QUOTE(devonhunter @ Jan 21 2013, 05:39 PM) not an issue? lol probably the safe way is to sync our music/video via mediaplayer instead i synced it this way..seems fine I did it the traditional way, juz use mass storage mode and dump what i want into the specific folder.

QUOTE(azraeil @ Jan 21 2013, 07:47 PM) Should have bought the Wireless Stand (DT-910) when it was available 3 weeks ago ... now out of stock here in Saudi .... dang!!!. Ohh by the way, the JBL Powerup Speaker (the one shown in the ads) is going for SAR1200 here ... (around RM950) ... a bit pricey .. gulp but can charge and play your Music via NFC .... I want the stand also, and since im a whote user i doubt i will have problems looking for the matching color. Just that here, no stocks yet. JBL ah, no $$$. If i have RM 950 also i'd rather get the Monster headset, i prefer headphones over external speakers. How much was the stand in your place? At least i can get an idea how much it will cost.

Am i the only who didnt care when the update is coming? =/ Especially when the update has begun rolling out in some countries... Probably because as a moderate user who isnt on data plan i dont experience battery life issues.

QUOTE(Bujal.x @ Jan 22 2013, 03:50 PM) agreed~for me its better then amoled~~ I like LCD's more natural looking color; Amoled's color reproduction looks too saturated, and unnatural; and the issue arises when photos appear different when u view it in your phone and in your laptops (which usually use LCD) due t different color reproduction. But, i really liked Amoled's deep blacks though - love the contrast, but i dont want colors to be oversaturated. This post has been edited by EXkurogane: Jan 22 2013, 04:08 PM
