I'm not sure whether Lumia 920 is eligible for RM 200 rebate..refer to the link below

so lucky to get at such a low price.... and a free sp too.... i bought mine at rm1999+3%interest for using credit card and no sp....  cry.gif
*
Let me tell u about that 3% story using credit card. Went to nokia store and buy white lumia i bring along my dad credit card and the person told me 3% charges if use credit i call my dad and my dad went up there and ask the person. My dad went out to the store and look at the store's name and it state NOKIA official retailer.

My dad went in and ask the person since when NOKIA official store charge 3% interest. Only those small retailer (not under nokia) charge 3% then my dad say nvm next time only buy. Then person in charge act like he is counting on something then when we are about to leave he say no 3% charges anymore. Just normal price.

After leaving my dad told me official Nokia store won't charge 3% they just want to earn extra. He gave me an example like Apple official store don't charge 3% for credit card.

So this is actually another thing im confuse of why Nokia never control how they price their customer.

what's wrong with the goverment here... previously said this RM200 rebate is not to encourage ppl to buy expensive phone, but to let those poorer ppl to upgrade their old phones to newer 3G phones... But now latest list I am seeing those highly overpriced phones such as iPhone 5 rclxub.gif
But I don't see our Lumia is inside there... hmm.gif

I wouldn't agree with 'world of limitations' but I would rather say a 'fresh start'. Windows Phone itself is a nice smooth, good looking running platform, suitable for people who seek OS acclimation. Well of course, due to its limited availability of popular applications compared outside the WP market, we understand that Microsoft is pushing hard to develop whatever the needs there is(at a very slow pace). WP consists most of the basic functions though they're missing some(especially PDF reader that doesn't function well vmad.gif). I wouldn't get so butthurt about it since Nokia comes with free offline GPS navigation(Nokia Drive) and I don't play games that runs on heavy battery, i prefer simple games like AlphaJax, Flow Free thumbup.gif

Haha agreed, even sometimes i feel it's just too simplified. Getting used to it sweat.gif At least ppls have some choices for some new invention to suit their preferences. Slow / fast, the improvements is still alive. So, better than nothings whistling.gif

Yeah outside store sure can get even lower. Near my places just a week after it launch, 1 store already selling it at RM1850 worr. But only Black & White set availables rclxms.gif

I see 1 person last night selling his Lumia for just RM1.3K with a minor dent at top corner due to fall off. Damn cheap! sweat.gif

Based on my personal opinion that RM200 is given out just to fish for v**e.

If they really wanted to give us the RM200 rebate just give it out like those book voucher and make a way to verify those income below RM3k, what is all that issue with phone under RM500 and we need to sign up a plan. If sign up plan i dun think the government contribute much on this RM200 rebate as telco is the one that contribute that RM200.

NOw they take off the limit of RM500 people can even buy iphone 5. So tell me if they do this do u think they are helping poor people i dun think so. Not much poor people can afford to sign up plan and buy this expensive phone.
All based on personal opinion

LOL regarding windows phone VS android thingy, Windows Phone is juz 2 years old+ ... I dont think Android and Symbian were that feature-packed when they were 2 years old. I dont like to use mainstream stuff, when people around use S3, Note 2 and iPhone, confirm those 3 will never be my next phone if i were considering a new phone. I like to be different.

Argee! before i buy the awesome Lumia 920, i did research on others, example Nexus 4, Note 2, S3 and Iphone 5. All those are good phones, don't get me wrong and i could afford it but it's just too common nowadays. Imagine this, i was in a meeting this morning together with almost 20 person in the room. As u know, most will put their phones on the table, majority the entire table is full of Iphones and Samsungs, So i put my L920 on the table too, instantly i could see the faces of curiosity among all of them, in the end my manager ask me, what phone are u using, he like the design and the home screen too. I was proud that my manager notice my L920 instead of others.

Talking about limitation, i don't see any limitation at all, W8 might be lag of apps, but Microsoft promise that it's coming. Remember IOS phones can't directly share files with other phones??? Not every OS is perfect. but Windows Phone 8 is trying hard to make an impact and i'm supporting it. Hopefully other OS could learn from each other and come up with a better product to benefit the consumers.
