QUOTE(Linggi @ Jan 8 2013, 04:45 PM) Any other girls like me? I hate shopping but I need to find clothes for work. It's very troublesome and I wished I could use my shopping, finding parking etc time to do something else like sleeping. I don't mind wearing T-Shirts and Shorts everyday like I'm at home because Malaysia is so hot....Also, clothes are so expensive and I'm very poor..1 shirt=RM 60. Might as well I take the money go eat. Many times I buy clothes that amount to RM 200++ in 1 weekend only...sometimes only end up wearing 1 or 2 because when I come back home I realized got fit problems etc..At work people keep laughing at me because I wear repetitive clothes...everyday wear the same... Hi Linggi, Why don't you try online shopping....I am one of those who don't like shopping too so I decided to set up a website selling clothes. You can check out my website www.wendcollection.com as I am doing a clearance sale now and if you spend RM200 (what you mentioned you spent on shopping for clothes), you can get 20% off the retail price and up to 30% discount if you purchase above RM300. That is a pretty good bargain considering most of my clothes are not extremely expensive. Normally we can sell clothes cheaper online as no rental of spaces is incurred so the prices are generally more attractive. Linggi, here are some tips on dressing for you.....you don't have to buy all expensive items for office wear. Buy a good quality jacket and the blouse and skirts, you can opt for cheaper but nice ones so you can have varieties and your colleagues would be wondering why you are wearing new clothes everyday. Press/iron all your clothing and add nice belts, scarf, small accessories to your office wear and that would change the look of your dressing and make it look like you are wearing new clothes everyday. I have some unique accessories on my website too so check them out. Enjoy shopping online and enjoy dressing up dear.....cheers, |

I feel your frustration. I like wearing tshirts/tank top and shorts daily. Used to when I was still studying.
Don't exactly hate shopping though. I just prefer comfy and simple clothes. Don't like to accessorize much either. Usually I'll but plain cotton dress, not too short so can wear it to work but not too long either so it still feels light and comfy. I usually buy my clothings online. Dresses mainly. Budget around RM70-80 max per dress. But some dresses are quite thick and heavy so I feel quite hot in them and seldom wear them. Also, get a blazer that fits and look good on you. It's amazing how smart one will look by just putting on a blazer. |

You can just put on a blazer with any t-shirt inside. It still looks smart especially if you are in the creative line. Don't exactly hate shopping though. I just prefer comfy and simple clothes. I have a nice and simple one, but the moment I put it on, wow! I can wear any crap underneath it and still look smart And the best part, it's ok to wear the same blazer in office everyday |
