If you notice the news this morning, i think you will be thinking the same thing as well. We might stand a chance to claim LAD (late delivery damage) from developer as the extension of time is invalid.

It is unfair for buyer to bare the unnecessary bank interest because of late delivery by developer.

I personally have contacted my lawyer, they say we are able to seek for LAD. This court case has been won by the buyer, which is similar to what we are going through.

So, i would like to gather every buyer together to have a meeting and discuss what we can do to seek for LAD.

Anyone still have a copy of the Extension letter? We can go through National House Buyer Association to assist us to claim the LAD.

Dear BUyers, you CAN claim LAD base on your SPA. If the SPA stated 42 months, the developer has NO right to extend it to 48 months or whatsoever. Read out the newspaper, Minister has NO RIGHT to issue extension for developer once the SPA stated clearly the months of completion.

Hence, you MAY claim LAD from the developer. The extension letter from Minister is USELESS. Refer to this news:
