QUOTE(ballistix89 @ Mar 21 2006, 06:12 PM) Just slightly shorter than Metroid Prime. I've seen Metroid Prime completed in 3 hours. So.. I'm guessing it might be a 12 hour game.Due to the backtracking, it's gonna make the game longer too. I hope no hunters come kill me in Single player |

I've got the game in my hand, waiting to try it out.
Make sure the strap 'comes' from the bottom, and not from the side. Provides lotsa length. Soon soon, gotta read the manual first. The box seems HARD when pressed down. Is something inside? Special prize? Justin Bailey? LOL This post has been edited by sihumchai: Mar 21 2006, 07:10 PM |

QUOTE(Mr Ez @ Mar 23 2006, 07:40 PM) ![]() What you see here, is the "JUSTIN BAILEY" code used in the NES Metroid game. It's a code, which does nothing but put Samus' in her bikini "JUSTIN BAILEY".. is not a singer.. nor an actor.. or a person. Split the words up, and you'll get 'Just in Bailey'.. Bailey in old skool refers to bikinis. |

Yeah, this game is abit challenging. Alot of action when it comes to hunters.. Especially if you're stuck in a small room. Sylux almost kicked my arse
Eat missles foo! I need more 2d-morph ball action! |

QUOTE(marauderz @ Mar 26 2006, 10:39 PM) Anyway while playing the single player game, go into Scan Mode in every new room you see and look around, sometimes there are data shades which are jsut floating there for you to scan. Yeah, missed out alot. Tend to forget after blasting everything in sight. But I always do a scan when I enter a new planet. |

Actually, I think the controls are VERY fluid. See who masters them faster than others
The bosses are kinda stressful also. The 'totem' one is kinda badass already. Second totem makes you run around like mad. Jumping over beams, crazy. Escaping is also another problem after, anyone knows WHY THE HECK are we rushing back to the gunship? Or at least, what happens if you don't make it back in time? Notice that you can't exit the ship once you get in.. Samus is afraid to be pwned by other hunters??? NO WAI! |

QUOTE(marauderz @ Mar 28 2006, 05:02 PM) I mean, as soon as you defeat the boss, and as you return to the boss portal, the gunship will 'alert' you of 'something', and you're given a timer to run back(or roll). And the shortcut portals disabled.Once you enter your ship(and EVERYTHING's calm again), the 'exit ship' button ain't there no more. But if you launch off, and then come back there's no problem. It's either warning you that other hunters are coming(which they are), or they're just telling you quickly hunt all Octoliths before the others get it =\ This post has been edited by sihumchai: Mar 28 2006, 06:58 PM |

I have to agree with the earlier reviews about the game. The bosses suck. Already fought with two dance poles.. And yesterday I just HAD to bump into another bowling ball with only 1 finger slot.
Nintendo's gonna pay if I have to fight another 3 poles, and NOT ANOTHER bowling ball. j/k.. But seriously, it does suck. However, I've finally managed to get some time in some deathmatch with bots. I thought 1 star was kinda easy, so I tried other skill levels. 2-3 Stars respectively jumps up like 5 levels. AI's always charge their weapons and give you a nice clean shot, super hard to avoid if short range. I'm also amazed at how fast the match can really get! It's Quake 1 all over again! Run around like mad, rockets flying, and screen guzzling with explosion and effects. And if you really want it to be hard, play 3-stars with weapons set to their 'Affinity weapon'. |

Back-track all the way, or use portals.
To quit, you'll have to be out of your ship, press start, then the quit button on the lower-left-hand side. |
