I haven get to explore mod besides Cyber shot and Walkman now. Im nt using any custom ROM tho cuz im happy with the Go laucher so far.

Now i just hope Sony will improve on battery life and Wifi signal actually. Thats one of the main concern and hopefully boost further improvements on features softwares.

Didn really look into it but if not mistaken is about 40mb? The Walkman mod which I posted in the previous thread before this. Its an enhancement for the original Walkman we have in ION. It basically enhance the speaker louder which i think we all need for the ion. So yeah..

Can we use Ion's dock (if we can find one..) without opening the flap? like acro S? It's really annoying having to open and close the flap every time i want to charge my phone.

Morning to all, I'm a proud owner of Xperia ION (RED). Just to check did anyone have the same problem as me. Whenever I played game the sound of the game is inconsistent. Sometime getting louder and sometime getting softer. Example of the game such as Subway Surf, Fieldrunners and etc. Is there anyway to fix this? I'm under Build Number 6.1.E.3.7.

Get TX better    I think the price difference ~RM200

If you can wait & no price concern then wait for Xperia Z (FHD Screen, Quad Core,........)

owner of a black ion reporting

G morning, black ion owner here,jes wonder bout the battery comsuming of this phone. If put the phone there to stand by,the battery wont drop much, but once i surf net or play around with the phone, man,the battery jes drop too fast. I monitor the usage n find out that each percent drop within a minute if u let the screen active. For normal usage (pick up some calls, check for fb updates, minor surfing),  my phone can barely stay up until bed time,n a full charge is required each day. I ve check the phone's background running apps n ensure the memory is cleared all the time + pull the screen brightness almost 0 but all those tricks didnt help any. So, dear fellow ioner, does this situation happen on ur device? Do u feel like ion's battery is jes too weak to sustain for a full day use? Even my wife's iphone 5 has better battery consumption than mine although a lot hav comments that iphone has bad battery consumption. Other than that, the device is good, jes hope that sony will solve the battery issue for the coming update release...

Hi all I really need your help...
when i in malaysia, i put in digi simcard it works perfectly

when i put in UK simcard, suppose it should ON like normal then on roaming

but the XperiaIon won't start, keep on restart and restart

the UK sim works fine on roaming on my other phones, BB, and tried on my mum's nokia its fine too.

i thought it is the sim card problem, maybe still..

I am now in UK... i went to the telco, when they heard my phone is bought in malaysia

they told me it could be the firmware is regional locked to Asia (got such thing meh)
if need to unlock maybe need 45 GBP or something?

then i found out with Sony UK... ARGHHH they do not sell this model Ion, LT28 in UK! so they cannot support
has to go Sony Malaysia... which... i don't know if i should?

if you guys know this Ion phone need and can be unlock in order to use it anywhere in the world ... let me know.

Why is the Ion not popular?  Is there another Sony phone around the same pricing with better bang?  If you don't have the Ion, what other Sony phones would you have bought with the same money today?
