Confused between SL, ION, Acro S, and S. Anyway, why is Xperia S priced much higher than its cousins in the official SONY website, like 1799 S vs 1599 ION, when ION is upgraded S..?

I am thinking of getting this phone anyway, or if you have better recommendations for 1.1-1.2k budget, let me know

RM200 rebate from an overpriced ION from official shops, you still pay more than what you get from those dealers in LYN. Plus, you need to subscribe to data plan.

So, Acro S only impresses me with the dock, and waterproof (but I still see review that it ain't that "proof").'
Again between Acro S and ION.. Hmm. SGSII is getting expensive and outta budget.

Alright! Any disadvantage of this phone that I should be aware of before deciding?
I was from SG SL i9003. Thought it was doing well though hahahaha.

OUCH! Big pain that I can't flash. Anyway I bricked my old phone because of flashing LOL. I like flashing, like seriously. Because stock ROMs are rubbish

Anyway it's still OK to wait for dev. Don't wanna brick my new phone just like that.
Uh ya, in Malaysia our variant is just HSPA+ right and not LTE?

Doesn't matter yet. Malaysia 4G has yet to improve until a LTE device is in need.
Plus, no money to subscribe to such high end data plans or what..

The fact that many complaining about short battery life disturbed me.. I generally spend 3 hours screen on daily. Hopefully it lasts from 7am to 8pm for me to get home and recharge...

Hmmm. Waiting for prices reply from dealer and then decide. Haha. Still thinking if I should use the RM200 rebate or not..
