First your ArcS needs to be unlocked first as it requires you to use custom kernel, not stock, at least for that rom...

If you get unlocked, slip in CWM Recovery, custom kernel should be with Root access so no problem at all...

After that, just download the rom and flash it from recovery.... nod.gif

Simple bro...

Use sony app " Backup & Restore " and make a full backup of your apps/contacts/msg/settings, choose SD Card for storage of the backup....Then re-flash system...After re-flash then restore all your apps...

From my experience, Sony stock camera app already provide the best quality...

Ive not yet tried MIUI v5, because im not used to MIUI interface....MIUI is a ram hunger rom actually...
And MIUI still not fully support Init.D scripts.....Im currently with Xperia NeXus now....Nice weeiii

About the installation, of course you need CWM for sure...MIUI needs an unlock bootloaders bro...
About flashing, i'd prefer you refer to first page of this thread, check the links ive posted...

Actually i dont see why MIUI needs an unlocked bootloader because it doesnt say anything about the needs
of custom kernels for it to run the rom....But i will get back to you about this....

After using this NeXus for more than a week, i can say nothing soo big about this rom...
Its just like stock, but with different Launchers, much more Debloated system, nothing much...

What i dont like about this rom is, the Launcher and theme is much more worst than stock,
currently now im using Xperia Z launcher....But this rom is mod-friendly, ive installed Cyber-Shot,
QcAE sound mod, JB Tab n' Grid, Seeder...All works fine, no FC's

But still i'd prefer XZXperience....I ran to this NeXus because XZX v2 is a bad dream for me...
Check at the dev thread about v2, they changed the internal storage and SD Card setting, make it worst...
But still XZX v1 is perfect...superb....

Maybe you do it the wrong way....Its like this :

- Disconnect phone from PC
- Turn off your phone
- Push and Hold Volume UP button
- While holding Volume Up button, Connect USB cable to PC, Done

Im not sure what youre talking about that USB cable, what i meant about USB Cable is,
the cable you received with the phone bro...Hope it helps...Any question just ask me here

Hurmm thats quite weird....Should be, once you connect your phone ( Off condition ) while hold Volume UP
button, then Blue LED shows up, release the button, done and proceed....

Im not sure about windows 8 but that can be one of the reason....Can try it on other system? Win7/XP

Hurmm...If you flashed PureCynogen from stock, it will not work for sure bro...

PureCM is a CM-based rom, thus it needs custom kernel and not stock kernel, like FXP of course
