Got latest update? I checked from software update section but its oredi up to date...i know bigger screen, faster speed will increase the battery usage, but cant just sony engineers realize tat issue n add bigger capacity of battery?lol....short battery reli make the phone feel so inconvenient, say, charge the phone anytime when needed whenever u r charging it in ur car or using a power bank, but doing so wont make the battery life span become shorter? Since full cycle charging is not applied.

Cant win with this...Add bigger battery capacity surely the phone itself will increase in size, then user will lost
interests with sony comparing to other android smartphone out there...I think this phone battery is the best comparing to other, because what? Its just can give me enough juice from morning until the end of the day...

Its just that the last firmware from sony decrease the battery lifespan for almost 30%, so just wait for update from sony....I assure you this bugs will be fix in next update as its not hardware problem

Ya,mayb i m a heavy usage user....lets jes wait for the coming release to fix this bug.btw, one more thing i realise, when we download something n would like to check the status by pulling down the notification bar rite, i notice that the downloading bar status will display unevenly, like it suppose to locate at the first item, but suddenly it jump into last row among all the notifications, n then suddenly jump back to first row....the whole situation will make that particular screen like flashing up n down inevidently until the item download is complete....why this? Another bug?

None, for Original Set (Thorus/Midland), just carry along your warranty card...
For claiming purposes, just give them your warranty card...

For AP set im not sure, but i think its the receipt

But after removing all the bloatwares and some system apps that i dont use, my battery have some improvements...

If on GPRS, my phone can last 2 days until 0% battery

What do u mean by dismount? I tried to take out the sd card and insert it back in. Still doesn't work.

Btw I restored my phone with cwm. Then i tried to install cybershot with cwm. I wiped cache partition and dalvik cache before installing. But when i reboot I could not find cybershot in settings>apps>all.

Hi all I really need your help...
when i in malaysia, i put in digi simcard it works perfectly

when i put in UK simcard, suppose it should ON like normal then on roaming

but the XperiaIon won't start, keep on restart and restart

the UK sim works fine on roaming on my other phones, BB, and tried on my mum's nokia its fine too.

i thought it is the sim card problem, maybe still..

I am now in UK... i went to the telco, when they heard my phone is bought in malaysia

they told me it could be the firmware is regional locked to Asia (got such thing meh)
if need to unlock maybe need 45 GBP or something?

then i found out with Sony UK... ARGHHH they do not sell this model Ion, LT28 in UK! so they cannot support
has to go Sony Malaysia... which... i don't know if i should?

if you guys know this Ion phone need and can be unlock in order to use it anywhere in the world ... let me know.

thanks

no matter where you are in the world try these few things first
1. force shutdown and restart your phone
--- to do this Press and hold down both the volume up key and the power key for 10 secs. After your phone vibrate 3 times, release both keys. Make sure you wait until the phone vibrate 3 times and not one time.

if this doesn't solve your problem than step 2

2. hard reset your phone. this will restore factory default settings. you will loose your data
---- to do this press and hold down both power key and volume up key until phone vibrate 1 time than release the power key while still pressing the volume up keys. follow the instruction on the screen. don't release the volume up keys unless the instruction on the screen ask ou to do so.

if this still doesn't solve your problem you need to decide weather you want the warranty or not. If you want warranty than send the phone to SONY MALAYSIA. If you don't want the warranty than unlock boot loader, root the device and use custom rom!! icon_rolleyes.gif

and one more thing.
you can also repair your phone using PC companion. just connect your phone and once windows finish detecting your phone press update firmware. than click repair and its done.

remember this always SONY XPERIA PHONE CANNOT get unrepairable unless the hardware fried!
