schumisupporter: yea... welcome to the thread! anyway, u own this schumi model??? man ur really a huge schumi supporter fan, as seen from ur nick... biggrin.gif btw, i still remember last time when i visit the toy museum in penang, i found a schumi anak patung there too... along with the doll, there are plenty of hot wheels f1 car models... but quite old one lor...
*
yes, those pics with my nick on it, is my collection. Let me introduce myself here, im one of the schumi's big fans. i have 10 Schumi 1:18 F1 models, from year 2000- 2006, 4 schumi caps, one of it is schumi signed cap(bought one), schumi jacket, ferrari team shirt... try to collect as much as i can, not just F1 car models.. well, im a kimi supporter too, begin to support him when he replaced Mika Hakkinen in year 2001.

and then.. i have another 2 1:18 F1 models which is R.Schumacher BMW FW26, & K.Raikkonen McLaren MP4-20. oh ya, i have one more minichamp 1:43 Kimi McLaren MP4-20. and trust me, this 1:43 Minichamp paintwork, car body, beat the Hotwheel kimi 2005 easily, i like to look into detail, so u can imagine how good is a Minichamp 1:18. well, we all know Hotwheel is half price of a Minichamp.

Love this Nosescone... Amalgam models also produced this models with this nosescone in scale 1:5. in fact Williams F1 decided to use back the 'normal' nosescone in the mid-season of 2004 when they found it was not giving any advantage.

ok for ur guys information, this is the Minichamp McLaren MP4-21 i found last 2 weeks before i join here, the seller said this is the Team Edition, and also "Not For Sale" Edition. but anyway, i think we can 90% confirm that the model will definitely apply with original "Johnnie Walker"!!

that is apply by ur own.. to me its meaningless, original always look perfect. thats why i rather leave my Ferrari F1 with the original "white blank".

Jasonist: thats only scale 1:43, havent seen a 1:18 yet. i found it on ebay, everyday i also search for new F1 stuff, love F1 so damn much! regard to wat u said: "front rim nut oso painted red and the rear suspension is gold", actuali is nothing to surprise about

as i mentioned in previous post with my Minichamp 1:43 McLaren MP4-20, the model also have wat u said jz now, and there is still a lot more difference between Minichamp 1:43 with the Hotwheel 1:18, i ald put 2 cars together and compare... mayb explain with pics next time wil be easier. i also hope to get this Minichamp McLaren MP4-21..

1:43 Minichamp VS 1:18 Hotwheel
Car model: Kimi Raikkonen McLaren MP4-20

Both also my collection, please keep in mind im not trying to criticize Hotwheel, because im a Hotwheel collector too, and this is the only one Minichamp i have. some may think Hotwheel produce better quality than Minichamp, well.. picture can speak thousand words. there is one thing i love about Hotwheel, that is the driver helmet, because it is exactly the same shape from the real one, while Minichamp is not..

yes u right, thats why i said i like to look into detail.. and do remember this Minichamp is only 1:43. i love the last pic most, because it gives u great feelin when u look at the MP4-20 at the front wing and the "horn". when i bought my Hotwheel MP4-20, it never give me this feelin when i look at the front til the rear wing, until i own this Minichamp, then only i feel surprise.. not just the front view, side view, from every direction u look at this car, is just like looking the real car.. oh ya, one more thing i cant show with my cam is, actualy the Mercedes-Benz logo also looking shiny, although its just a sticker.. Impressive.

McLaren: the mid valley i told u is the place i bought the M.Schumacher figure. The Ferrari 150GP WIN was bought from a F1 collector. i hope to have Mika 2001 car, but quite not possible.

oh.. i knew this one, tribute to schumi that equal senna record. but pole that schumi recorded was 68, so its not the one im looking for. but pointing the sky was looking good.

ya i know the upcoming 3 models, italy, china and brazil. ald have the clear pics. but.. i hate hotwheel does not produce the actual car that schumi raced that particular GP. the car make no difference with the normal race version we have(if u look into detail). they only put schumi figure beside, change the display base, packaging method and sell at expensive price.

i think this is far more meaningful & attractive compare to the Schumi chrome 7 Times W.Champion Edition. this is the postrace celebration move, that Schumi always did.. looking at it make me recall back all the Schumi greatest moment.

one thing i wan to mention is the Schumi figure in the chrome version was looking horrible, because the face damn fat and jz.. terrible. well dun worry for the upcoming italy and china 2006 version, coz the Schumi figure is looking good this time.

ya, thats why sometimes u actualy doesnt get wat u paid for, especially from Hotwheel. they know many people wil rush and buy it, just because of the word "Limited Edition". some model was good, but for sure not this upcoming italy, china and brazil version. hm... i would say the "view" at the overall of the model is nice, but not the car individually.
