do not over crowd your tank with fishes.

izam7:
what else fishes you got there?
can you name them?

budakdegilz:
put some flame moss in the tank. baby shrimps love to hide inside.
best solution is either choose fish keeping or shrimp keeping. hahaha

weijie,

right now I'm keeping 10 neon tetra, 10 cherry shrimp, a pair of molly, angle fish and zebra tetra.
my tank is about 2 ft.
last time got few guppies but I've removed them due to their hyper active behaviour and they
seem like to attack the tetra.
Since I've few rock and plants, the shrimp seem can live very well since they have a lot of hiding spaces thumbup.gif

sorry for misleading. i want to ask what other fish you can buy at kedah. hehehehe tongue.gif
this is first time i heard about guppy attacking tetras.
because normally guppies are slow swimmer. they are not fast enough to chase tetra.

You can add in mosquito rasbora, confirm won't touch shrimplet unless it is larvae.

i see it as a "circle of life"...

but mine prey is much more expensive than mine predator laugh.gif

just sharing,
so far I have kept fancy guppies, neons, cardinals, cherry barbs, danios, glolight all together in my planted aquarium without any deaths..
i realised that if i keep them in groups of at least 4 or 5, they'll be fine..
the only predator in my aquarium now is a Crayfish.. but i provide ghost shrimps for him to prey on. heh..

happy experimenting all.. smile.gif

if frm small already together, everyone live harmony. it is when one is young and another is old, the older will try to be the dominant party. such is life... smile.gif

good example : dogs n cats cannot come together when they are matured or old already... if they're together since young, then no problems smile.gif

those are some sort of Bio-film bacteria produce, shrimps/snails feed on those.
