can one co2 tank being using by more than one tank? as example, i have two tank. one 3ft, another on 1ft. i wanna use same co2 tank, maybe i must set different bps for each tank. but it is posibble to do that or will have some disadvantage?

hey guys, ill be starting another brand new tank this saturday and i just have a few queries i need to reconfirm with you guys here. any opinions at all are all appreciated...
ive heard that for the first week after starting your tank you should use minimal light for only a few hours only daily and then slowly increase it week by week. anyone here can advice how many hours of light i need for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th week? and also how many bps should i induce into my tank?

light: aqzn T5HO 24w x 4

Ahh.. i hate Green dust algae... removed the stem plants caused imbalance in the tank.. now wave after wave of GDA attack..

minus the GDA im actually quite happy with the tank..

use OF algae , very fast , but puy half of the suggestion dose only

heard that gda is actually a spore of algae. give it about a week and keep up with water change it should disappear. 

I think the (GDA) you guys referring are the green algae that sticking on the rocks. i've seen people usuing toothbrush to remove the stain, not sure its the best way but it's another options

varial : yes, typical 60cm tank is about 20-25gal... so its quite high even at the watt per gallon rule... maybe u can remove 1 or 2 bulbs?

i think start with 2, as the plants mature, move it to 3 bulbs

trial and error. but you can always go for super high tech... but of course u must have a lot of compressed co2 and ferts to go along with it.

guys need some suggestion what carpet plant easy to grow without co2 tank...i got some co2 tablet thou...

looks like i have to grow those plants that can survive without co2 1st..currentyl i got anubia and java fern..
