I just get a latest banner for my blog.

1 point for making known that it's a weblog people are reading.

1 point for having clear text about the weblog.

the rest of the points are lost because you can't read the name of the website properly which is thteong.com it currently looks like thtcong or thtcons.

i like the idea you're trying to do but your name should be clearer and easily read before Weblog, Blog About Everything.

Somehow I don't think this one gaoing to work.. It doesn't quite blend with your weblog. It as if you banner is one thing and the content is another completely different thing. Try to blend it together. And sometime simple banner actually better compare to over-blend, emboss banner..

2nd design looks nicer than the 1st. A cleaner look.

However I think you should flip the reflection horizontally. The reflection of "g" now is underneath "t". Doesn't quite make sense
