Stock has already moved up a fair bit .... 

   

Depreciation is hidden earnings.. almost no one will see it.. all focus on eps.

Today's trading is a bit tricky.

As you know, stock shot up strong up strongly, went as high as 117.
When you put Friday's opening price of 101 into consideration, on one hand, we know the stock had gone up too much.
And as expected, stock pullback and closed at 110.
This is where it gets tricky.
One could say further pullback is possible, stock needs to digest 2 days of strong gains.
One could also say that today's pullback was well absorbed.

The volume since last Tuesday is suggestive.
This volume is much, much stronger than few months ago...
Which suggests that perhaps this is just the start of a new game....
And if the stock continues to stay active, I won't be surprised to see higher stock prices in the future.

For charts, knowing the basics, like uptrend, downtrend, trendless all very important.

Knowing the stage of each trend also useful.

For example, a stock like the one last night.
Ask yourself...

1. When the trend began?
2. How is the volume?
3. How much has the stock moved since the start of the trend?

Knowing these basic issues will help you manage your risk a little better when you trade.

Early trend, could suggest the stock got much legroom to go up.
Shit case? The trend is a mini up trend. LOL! Then you die.

Matured trend? You buy into a stock whose trend is most likely gonna end?
If it dies, u mati.
Shit case? You see wrong. Stock still moves higher and higher.
