Abt 15% discounted since peak
No idea why it was sold down, probably due to
- political uncertainty in Thailand, or
- could be the expiry of CA, or
- no more special dividend like last year

QUOTE(gark @ Jan 20 2014, 12:25 PM) Mostly affected by Thai unrest as >30% of income from Thailand. This week 4Q result should be out.Last time sold at slightly below RM 5... Hoping for below 4...to re-enter Just worried that next qtr result will not be that rosy since the sales might reflected in next qtr report. |

/bend down & collected Boon's 3 kupang
I share same view as Gark 4Q result should be decent (Good for short term play) But next qtr result is a mystery, will see how the company wheather the situation in Thai sales. Anyway, it rebounded nicely today, with low volume. |

Calling Gark
Ah lian Q4 result is out Very ugly The decrease in revenue was mainly due to a fall in the local & oversea market demand Looks like you sold at a good price & the chance of reenter below 4 is highly achievable Now we know why the sharp drop recently. Insider win! |

QUOTE(Boon3 @ Feb 11 2014, 05:37 PM) Boon, thank you for the inputs. Yah I noticed lately quite a handful of company diverisfying their core business to lucrative property development, one of the remarkable one is transporting company TNlogics. Caely main business is lingerie & direct sales, and the CEO said : "If a company's long-established business is in a sunset industry or too competitive and saturated, it may want to seek a new business that would provide a more robust growth. Going into the property sector is one of the options that they have." Looking at the past 2Q result shows a remarkable change, I think no harm placing a small bet onto it. |

Can you advice? 3*1* has some land on hand, too right? This company distributes watches... Read it from SKY's post. Maybe one day can consider diversifying to property |
