For NSB 6" warm white around RM35 while 4" if not mistaken only Rm19 or 2x something. Yerp for landed property. That one is for my in law house, for mine i'm using OPPEL which is quite expensive. OPPEL 4" will cost around RM35 and 6" around RM50. One thing for sure the PCB (driver) for OPPLE is neat, clean and have more components than the other brand that i've survey.
OPPEL or OPPLE?
Anyway, we need to know the component rating before can make any conclusion, in electronic world, no such theory as more component = more quality. The problem lies on the component use whether can withstand the current and heat rating or not. For example, radial/axial part usually more forgiving compare to SMD part when comes to power/heat dissipation.
Anyway, last month reported I have bought 2 units of Nippon II 24W 6" for test,
last week i just bought another brand, 1 unit Vekocy 24W 6", so far from what i tested.
Brightness (Cold start): Nippon 20% > Vekocy (using LX meter apps to test, Nippon II around 53000lx vs Vekocy 43000lx)
Brightness (After temperature steady) : Nippon II still 20% > Vekocy, both unit drop to 51000lx vs 41000lx)
Brightness after 1 month usage (13 hours/day, only on Nippon II): Remained unchanged.
Heat (LED unit): Nippon II colder than Vekocy
Heat (LED driver): Nippon II hotter than Vekocy
Origin: Nippon II Taiwan, Vekocy China
Both LED driver are swappable, but after swapped the brightness ramained the same, so can be concluded LED driver is not the brightness different factor here.
Vekocy LED driver is based on MT7813 chip reference design (you can goggle yourself), while Nippon II i yet to have time to identify the driver due to SMD part used. But PCB quality wise, Nippon II seems better than Vekocy, however heat is greater for Nippon II.
So from this test actually Nippon II LED lamp + Vekocy LED driver is better combination in terms of efficiency.
Will try search more to strip and test, if you guys can sponsor me is more easier.
