base on my exp, what IP you getting is all depends what area you are in, some of you might get 60, 218 or 219.

for me, i always get 219, 218 is hard to get, and the problem is even i get 218 it only survive for few days, somehow my modem will lose the IP by itself.

now trying the script hope it help.

ok, i used to connected to 218, but always lost it every 5-6 days, i dunno why.

now, i'm running the script, but i can't seems to connect to 218 anymore, my question is :

1) when the script is running, there's a dos prompt window pop-up with "Connecting to STREAMYX...."......correct? anything else?

2) how i know the script is running properly, i dun see my connection being connect and disconnect cause my IP nvr change......it only change to 218 or any of my desire IP when available?

thanks a lot.

i think you better use back your default dialer

if you are running the 218 script properly, you will be able to connect to the internet, then check your ip

ok, before this am using a router, since running the script am using the ADSL modem which is directly connect to my computer, so i think is bridge mode right?

am not using the windows dialer to connect, any problem with this? but if the script is running and the dos prompt window pop-up with "Connecting to STREAMYX..." think it's ok?

and; i need to connect to the internet then can run the script right?

and i found out the truth about all these IP problem, one of my friend got a buddy work as a senior manager in telekom, according to him was 'someone' 'somehow' messed up the IP and they dunno how to fix it......

probably they need more time to figure out how to get back to the original configuration sweat.gif
