Hello guys,

I recheck the info given by lenovo last week and found i made some mistake.

here's the correction (Color of red is the corrected area):

Y500 SLI model + DVDRW (New SKU)
I7 3630QM, 8G DDR3 1600MHZ, GT750M (built in), 1TB HDD, 15.6" FHD, 120W+170W, GN37 SLI ADAPTER, ULTRABAY DVDRW SRP: RM3899

Y500 Basic Varient(New SKU)
I7 3630QM, 8G DDR3 1600MHZ, GT750M (built in), 1TB HDD, 15.6" FHD, 120W ULTRABAY DVDRW SRP: RM2999

The Y500 with RM3799 price tagging is the previous model which i have found i have been mistaken.
Now all above given infos are triple checked and confirm Valid by official

Sorry guys for the wrong info given earlier

TJ, Dell launch Latitude 3330 ultrabook (look much better than Vostro 3360 tongue.gif )
1.6kg, but no docking port. I understand it's ~ RM2.5k, but don't have official RSP.

what about y580? smile.gif apparently i saw some reviews on the y400 and y500, many ppl recommended y580 instead because of the GTX 660M thing. what does that have to do with it? yawn.gif many have said that its more worth it to buy due to that gtx 660M which will be good for games in the future, probably 1 year from now?

Y580 is old model. Y500 is new model.
Y500 latest spec come with GT750M (latest gen GPU from Nvidia), which is ~ 10% better than GTX660M (Nvidia GPU line-up from last year), according to some benchmark.

Thanks again for the update nexus sifu, looks good haha notworthy.gif notworthy.gif
I doubt I can get pricings for the new model though... sellers sure will be pissed off with me just bugging them for prices and not buying sad.gif
It appears even viper88 can only offer consumer line Dell notebooks only (as long as the notebook is in the consumer page- which includes the new Vostro 5640) as well.. very hard to get price quotes for the new business units sad.gif

Lenovo Y400, i7-3630QM + Nvidia GT750M@RM2499, 4GB, 500GB, FreeDOS, 120wPSU, swappable ODD, 2 years warranty

with similar spec and price but want 15.6 inch ??

the similar I found is Lenovo Ideapad Z580, i7-3612QM + Nvidia GT640M@RM2299, 4GB, 500GB(5400rpm), freeDOS, white

but the processor and graphic card on Y400 is it just slightly better than Z580 ??
