Hey guys,
Need recommendation from you all.
Looking to buy a laptop that has the following specs with budget of 2.5 - 3k

Screen: 15.6"
CPU: At least i5
HDD: Min 750gb
GPU: As long as can play PES and load FM13 smoothly (football fan here)
Warranty: Reliable service. More than 1 year better.

Laptop will be used to play those two games plus the usual browsing, movies, music and office works.
I am an ASUS fan but after reading the ASUS warranty thread, I'm a bit worried already.

hmm.
help me guys!

Well, the good news is that PES and FM13 are very very low demanding in terms of graphics laugh.gif
You can actually save a lot of money here if you want nod.gif

*Assuming you don't want an Asus
15.6"
Dell Inspiron 15, i5-3337U + AMD HD7670M@RM1849[2.25kg], Win8SL, 4GB, 500GB(5400rpm)
Dell Inspiron 15R, i5-3210M + AMD HD7670M@RM1899[2.65kg], 4GB, 500GB(5400rpm), W7HP/W8
Dell Inspiron 15R (Special Edition), i5-3210M + AMD HD7730M@RM2199, 4GB, 1TB(5400rpm); backlit keyboard optional, W8

Lenovo Z500, i5-3230M + Nvidia GT645M @RM2299, 4GB, 1TB, W8; backlit, 2 years warranty (4-cell)

*Not all come with 750GB though, easily rectified by getting an external HDD
* All these are actually way, way more than what you are asking for (in terms of gaming laugh.gif)
*use the remaining money to upgrade RAM to 8GB, and extend warranty to 3 years icon_rolleyes.gif
*
Yeap agreed on PES & FM13 does not need a high end GPU but can the current GPU make me play PES on high reso and details say for another 2 years?

Thanx btw bro! biggrin.gif

Lenovo's warranty service is not as good as Dell's~
Dell offers on-site warranty where they will send technicians over to your place within 1-2 business days after remote diagnosis to fix your notebook on the spot.. that will save you quite a lot of time for needing to send the notebook to service centers by yourself... and of course there's the long wait of up to 2 months for your notebook to be repaired  hmm.gif

so in terms of after sales service which do you think is the best and worth for money? should i go for dell or lenovo?

any contacts of dealers that can offer me good price a bro? brows.gif

Definitely wait, new models come out all the time laugh.gif
Technology changes very rapidly.. the best notebook now will inevitably be replaced by something better~
