If strictly Alienware, then you can only get the M14x R2, but you will have to compromise on screen resolution and performance... The M17x, on the other hand,  is way expensive hmm.gif

Otherwise:
Or get an illegear (if you want to max out the specifications for the price):
15.6"
Illegear RS-15, i5-3210M + AMD HD7970M + (1920x1080)@RM5299, 8GB, 500GB(5400rpm), FreeDOS [CPU Options: i5-3210M - i7-3940XM][GPU options: GTX680M]
*
m14x r2 maybe enough i guess. need more portability as i'm going to travel a lot. the illegear laptop looks tempting but i'll further study overseas so to claim warranty from illegear is going to be hard. sweat.gif

The m14x is not exactly very portable yo  tongue.gif
Its heavier than most standard 15" notebooks, and even though the size is smaller, it is much thicker, making it less comfortable if you put in inside a backpack

yea? blink.gif for illegear? is it heavy?

just want to warn you something.. the warranty for Dell (AW) are bad in other countires.. So I wont recommend you to buy it.. find some laptops in XoticPC or others if you're going other countries.. Though it would be better if you can specify which country you're going. smile.gif

i heard that too. i'm going to spain and the rating for alienware is quite bad. got any other choice?

I am not sure.. but I know they are a few custom laptops you can check it out. smile.gif
try XoticPC, HIDevolution, OriginPC, Falcon-NW, maingear or eurocom.. thats what I remember.. there are a few more.. but these are those trustable ones.. You can check them out. smile.gif

EDIT: I mean more people usually get from them, trustable or not, its depending on you.. smile.gif Though, from what most people that bought from them, it seems like the companies are quite good.. The rest of the research is up to you. tongue.gif
