If strictly Alienware, then you can only get the M14x R2, but you will have to compromise on screen resolution and performance... The M17x, on the other hand,  is way expensive

The m14x is not exactly very portable yo 
Its heavier than most standard 15" notebooks, and even though the size is smaller, it is much thicker, making it less comfortable if you put in inside a backpack

just want to warn you something.. the warranty for Dell (AW) are bad in other countires.. So I wont recommend you to buy it.. find some laptops in XoticPC or others if you're going other countries.. Though it would be better if you can specify which country you're going.

I am not sure.. but I know they are a few custom laptops you can check it out.
try XoticPC, HIDevolution, OriginPC, Falcon-NW, maingear or eurocom.. thats what I remember.. there are a few more.. but these are those trustable ones.. You can check them out.

EDIT: I mean more people usually get from them, trustable or not, its depending on you.. Though, from what most people that bought from them, it seems like the companies are quite good.. The rest of the research is up to you.
