What is "super general usage"? tongue.gif
You can get International Warranty from all brands, it is just that you have to go through the hassle and pay more smile.gif
The easier one:
(suggest ultrabook, please let us know if you prefer something heavier and with more raw power)

Asus
K46CM-WX090H, i5-3317U + Nvidia GT635M@RM2199[2kg], 2GB, 500GB, W8, OD (2 year International warranty)

Dell
Inspiron 14z, i3-3217U + Intel HD4000@RM1799[1.87kg], 4GB, 500GB(5400rpm), W8, *no VGA port, OD
Inspiron 14z, i3-3217U + AMD HD7570M + 32GB mSATA + 500GB(5400rpm)@RM2099[1.87kg], 4GB, W7HB/W8, *no VGA port, OD
Inspiron 14z, i5-3317U + AMD HD7570M + 32GB SSD + 500GB(5400rpm)@RM2449[1.87kg], 4GB, W8 *no VGA port, OD
Inspiron 14-3421, i5-3317U + Nvidia GT625M@RM1799[1.99kg], Win8SL, 4GB, 500GB(5400rpm), 6-cell
Inspiron 14R, i5-3317U + Nvidia GT640M LE@RM2099[1.97kg], 4GB, 750GB(5400rpm), W8SL
(Extend warranty to 3 year, it become International Warranty)

Lenovo
S400, i5-3317U + Intel HD4000 + 24GB mSATA + 500GB(5400rpm)@RM1999[1.8kg], 4GB, W7HB; AMD HD7450M/W8@RM2199 (1 year International Warranty)

LOL, super general means things like campus work, browsing the web, playing videos, watching movies and all. Not even into heavy photo-editing or hardcore gaming.

Something with bigger storage will do tho, not really need SSD for now.

Then the earlier suggestions suit you well, since they are light and easy for you to carry around, and powerful enough to satisfy your usage requirement.

As for HDD storage, you can easily arrange upgrade with re-seller (or select another option if buy through Dell Online). 1TB HDD is < RM100 more expensive than 500G HDD now.
The small mSATA SSD in some of the models are for caching (factory setting), not available for your saving data.

Sure thing, thanks for the help biggrin.gif
