Help needed.

1. Preferred Brand: any
2. Budget:Rm 4000 and below
3. Usage: Gaming
4. Preferred laptop/screen size: 14" or 15.6" Full HD
5. Required: Good Laptop with a lot of battery

I know the sifus here will probably going to recommend me Y500 as that is in my list but the driver for the dual gpu is the problem here and there is no optimus support which will drain the battery. You can say that I know a lot about Y500.

I just wanna know that if there is other laptop that is on par with Y500 with the budget or should I wait for the new y series and how long will it be until the new y series will be annouced?

Thank You and regards.

We are not magicians with crystal balls haha, so we can't really predict when the new lineups will come laugh.gif
but there will definitely be a refresh when Haswell comes out, hopefully with a new generation of GPUs as well... that time it will already be the 3rd-4th quarter of the year.. so if  you cannot wait, then just buy what you can get now nod.gif

Perhaps you can consider the new Illegear RE-15?  brows.gif
15.6"
Illegear RE-15, i5-3210M + Nvidia GTX660M + (1920x1080)@RM3299, 4GB, 500GB(5400rpm), FreeDOS [CPU Options: i5-3210M - i7-3840XM][/color]

Haha sry sifu. I can wait till the 3rd quarter of this year probably before I go to UK. It seems like Illegear has something to offer or is it better if I go buy laptops in UK for example at pcspecialist?
What do you think sifu? I'll be staying there for three years

One more thing, can the laptop that you recommended( Illegear re 15) has an upgradable gpu?

And how about this, MSI GT60 BAREBONE 4199 with gtx 670m i5 8 gig ram 750gb 7200rpm free dos
