actually i like the design of s56cm but its graphic and processor slightly low...
i  would choose z580 or s56cm...but i duno which 1 is better...
z580:graphic nicer but i not sure about the resolution.
s56cm: design nice hv ssd, but processor low and graphic lower thn z580

yeah.. can also change into gpu i think that y400.. if want to change to other can, but u need to have the bay la.. eg: if u want additional ODD or HDD in y500, u must buy la.

Don't be confused 
Easiest is to go out and look at the real thing
Components (GPU, HDD, ODD, cooling fan ... ) that come in ultrabay form factor is very easy to swap in / out the laptop. No screw. The release lever is very similar to normal laptop battery.

Y500 and Y400 each has 1 ultrabay slot.
When Lenovo Malaysia released Y500, the ultrabay slot is filled with a ultrabay GPU (another GT650M). If you check out some foreign sales site, you could find Y500 which ultrabay slot standard spec is filled with a ultrabay ODD).
When Lenovo Malaysia released Y400, the ultrabay slot is filled with a ultrabay ODD. (As far as I know, so far, no where in the world you can find a ultrabay GPU for Y400. Lenovo is expected to release ultrabay GPU and other ultrabay accessories for Y400 this year).

Ultrabay slot is nothing new. Thinkpad has it for a long long time. What is new is GPU in ultrabay that can run in SLI 

btw guys.. wanna ask that what is 32GB RAM for? I mean like if I put 32GB RAM, what is the common usage?

hmm.. my current asus a52j is using 500GB 7200rpm  one wor. all in all, the lenovo is that good?   

ohh.. yea.. it boots up abit slower i guess? .. but sorry to ask.. what's ssd? lol.  . i got my a52j like... 3 years ago? about rm2.7k i think. haha. and one more thing.. regarding the keyboard and mousepad.. is it good to use? i mean.. (dust cannot enter easily) coz i find that a52j.. lots of dust.

Could i get some recommendation on laptop.
a bit about me:
-Software programming student(still studying)
-hard grind gamer(could reach 12 hours in total per day)
-anime lover ^ adds more time to the above mentioned

1. Preferably Asus
2. Budget: 3000-4000 but would very much like something  below 3000
3. For multiple programming, Gaming. At most as for now is Skyrim or Dragon Nest.
4. Bigger is better, since having multiple windows running over one time during coding is a bother to find another monitor
My current laptop is the Acer Aspire 4736 though i wonder if i sell it with a broken graphics card to a trade in / buy old shop...would they take it for a high price?
