Been having a dilemma on this two laptops: Asus N56VZ-S3151H, i5-3210M + Nvidia GT650M@RM2799[2.7kg][B&O], 4GB, 750GB, W8; color: black @RM2799 Lenovo Y400(59-356819), i7-3630QM/GT650M(GDDR5)@2799/4GB/500GB/W8/red backlit keyboard/120w psu/ODD (swappable)/2 yrs warranty/backpack
Both offer decent gaming GPUs. So which is worth getting for gaming + studies.

QUOTE(PF T.J. @ Jan 6 2013, 11:37 PM) Assuming your "Studies" only involve normal assignments using Microsoft Office. If that is the case, the Y400 would be the better pick since it is smaller and lighter, easier for you to carry around Having the i7 CPU will also mean that the notebook is capable of rendering and simulation if your course requires it i.e. Engineering, Bioinformatics, designing etc. Thanks TJ for the good suggestion.. Still, is gaming good/better on the ASUS N56VZ than the Lenovo Y400 with the same resolution just that its a bigger screen?

QUOTE(lee_what2004 @ Jan 7 2013, 12:01 AM) Both will have similar gaming performance. What I mean is that will the games be affected on a bigger screen with the same resolution. Like pixels blurring

So now brand wise.
Which is better?
I really can't decide, there isn't anything convincing enough to get me to decide firmly on one laptop .
