There are some notebooks that come with IPS screens, but unfortunately most of them are not really meant for photo editing

The Lenovo Y500 is the one to go for, leaving you with plenty of money left to upgrade to a SSD (which last longer than conventional HDDs).. Use also the remaining budget to extend the warranty to 3 years (that's the maximum already unfortunately).. The rest is up to you to take good care of it so that it lasts 5 years

Hmmm.. If compare the Asus G55VW-IX190H and the Lenovo Y500, which one is a better option ? sorry hehe im not a tech wizz
