i haven't flash any ROM yet for my Gnex.
waiting for the warranty to finished first.
because my experience with previous HTC DesireS was not so good.

But anyway, i'm looking for stable ROM for daily usage and can help reduce battery consumption. Is there any ROM that provide the unread count features?

Just my personal opinion, after experimenting with ROMS for the past few months and rebooting flashing stock images rooting blablabla, in my honest and personal opinion, the ONLY custom ROM you should consider are AOKP's.

I've found all theirs I've used so far to be stable, and flawless. Feature wise, it covers everything I want and need, and about battery life you really can't say much. The phone comes with a 1750 mAh battery which is really wtf for a phone that has a screen that huge. So ROMS do play a small role in battery life, but really, how much can you really save on battery life, since you have a smart phone and probably wanna use all of it's features, 'location access, news weather etc'

I recommend AOKP for the features and smoothness 

Yeah, I see people complaining about battery life all day long in every forum when the facts are the phone comes stock with a 1750 mAh battery which is HORRIBLE for a phone with a screen this big!

And then you'll see people recommending you to turn off location services, enable 2G, disable auto brightness, using different ROMS or kernels. Once you accept that the phone's battery is ONLY 1750 mAh, you'll stop trying to do these things. If you need battery life, get a powerbank/extended battery like others have suggested 

i ask here how to know my gnex locked or unlocked bootloader. somebody told me, my gnex will show mangga kunci on bottom screen when it boot. so its mean my gnex already unlocked or still need to unlock? my phone is yakju maguro version.

almost 1 day usage my battery at 50%
my old original battery can barely last a day for normal usage
anyway to claim warranty for my battery??last time i tried to claim my battery for replacement but they rejected
after bought new battery frm brotan i realized my ori battery indeed hav some problem
any idea?

It should be same size as stock. It's written there 1750mAh but don't know where brotan measure and say it's 1850mAh. No NFC though.

Just want to check with those on aokp. My boot logo for aokp, either the official or fitsnugly's version is now the X logo, no more pink unicorn.

I'm using it too and i didnt notice any difference in performance compared to the original battery. Both can do 3 hours ++ screen time. For RM35, yeah.. its worth it
