I have a question to ask, now I'm on surfmore 30 and when will I switch from LTE to 3G? after quota below 900mb or what?

I went to a Maxis dealer just now, and they told me to change to nano sim, they would charge RM25, BUT if you go to maxis centre, it will be FOC. Is this true ?
