Well, one thing for sure, you won't get your replacement on the spot. Waiting time is around 2 weeks, add another week if you're just sending it to a Maxis reseller not the Maxis Centre (some of them ships to Maxis on weekly basis, depending on size).

Your unit will be exchanged with either a refurb or new unit, also partly depends on the cosmetic outlook of your current iPhone. Refurb or brand new, it will come in a sealed plastic pack containing only the phone (no box). So the only way to check either it's brand new or not is by checking its serial/IMEI.

If it's shit, don't take it.

Nicely tell that fella the condition is bad. If everything else fail, quote MCMC or Sales of Goods Act in the law.

That might settle your problem pretty quick.

guys want to ask.

I got my iphone 5 on May 6.

the problem is my phone network is not stable. its connects to 3G but sometimes the connections drops to no internet(same place)

and I think because of this, my battery is dying quite fast.

And I cant get LTE. I went to maxis store(menara Maxis) and put my phone next to the demo with LTE but my phone seems cant receive it.
I complain and the guy said my sim card is potong one so must get original nano sim card. It will cost me RM25

I dont think it is because of the sim card.

I gonna go back again there and ask to put the sim card from the demo phone into my phone and see if can receive LTE or not.

anyone face the same problem?

yes bro. if u enable LTE in general settings, sometimes its gonna be like that because ur default is 3g. if u notice, when u only on data without enable LTE in general settings, u will see 3g icon also at ur status bar. but after changes sim, no problem at all.. flex.gif

Dont worry, you would only able to receive E or 3G for the data mobile coz for LTE, it required newer sim
