I had register an IValue 100 by march 7. Due to maxis billing date is 17 of month...I had been charge for rm42 from 7-17 march. Now maxis didnt deduct the bill from my advance payment rm500...it let it accumulate to april RM112 bill and bared my line.

I had call maxis centre and she said i need to clear all the overdue payment rm155 only can deduct my advance payment start from nxt month...WTF

I wondering:
1) why maxis wont automatic deduct my advance payment from d first date i registered!!
2) the contract mentioned the advance payment could be deducted from the FIRST 5 MONTHS after u register...BUT I HAD PAY 2 month RM155 for that...so wll my advance payment will be deducted until OCTOBER from now MAY?? or from march to august? if march to august, what would be happen to my advance balance?

Very unhappy with maxis now

Bro, please check whether the rm500 deposit is in your account or not, because last time the MEP that I signed my iphone from didn't bank in the money to Maxis, and hence Maxis didn't deduct from the advance payment I paid but charge me for it.

Nearly impossible it will happen if you purchase it from Maxis Center. BTW, some ppl also say that the first month, you will have to pay it. The deposit you paid will start on 2nd month onwards.

Which means if u signed the iphone on 24 May, and you billing cycle is 1 June for example, from 24 - 1 June, u will have to pay for it. For 1 June - 1 July, then it will deduct from the deposit you have paid.

Haha I was in ipoh a couple days ago..and was staying in Regency Tower Hotel level 13. Surprisingly when I activated 3G, it switched to LTE.. huhu blazingly fast. Run speedtest, got almost 20Mbps download. However, when I was at Ground Floor, it switched back to 3G.. so I think Maxis is just testing the LTE..

I guessed that why when you were on the ferris wheel & at elevated height, you got LTE but at ground floor, its back to 3G.. if you want to test, go higher ground/levels..

So, LTE is coming to town. rclxms.gif

Maxis staff told me that they will give us new set but some of our forumers here have received refurbished set. If you're lucky you might be getting a new set for replacement. :|

Doesn't matter la even if it is refurbished, as long it looks brand new, feels brand new and it works.

Even if it is refurbished how old can the phone be. Even the oldest iPhone 5 in the market in the world is not even 9 months old what more a Malaysian set.

Its not like iPhone 5 has been in the market for 2 - 3 years.

If it really matters to you then just get a third party to repair your existing phone. Minor parts or problems can be replaced or fixed at a very cheap price. One or two of forummers on here offer really good iPhone repair services which I myself can vouch for.

Otherwise just live with it.

True that. Honestly I don't care if I get refurbished set, but the "satisfaction feelings" if I get a new set, it's never been better.

Yes.

In my area around Setapak, I can't even surf on EDGE.

Constant drop from 3G to EDGE which does not allow me to surf....

But then, I found LTE in my area, thus maybe it's a network upgrade.

Hi guys, I'm going to switch my DiGi postpaid to Maxis now due to the DiGi line not stable for me. Before I switch I need to confirm something:
1) Does the Maxis now provide no extra charge for overload the quota?
2) iPhone 5 can use which plan ? I saw in the Maxis store have few types and I'm interested for TalkMore48 and SurfMore50.
3) If anyone using either one of the plan, can you share the bills payment? Like do maxis simply charge? Previously got this issue, for now I'm not sure.
4) TalkMore48 package doesn't provide free usage? If yes, cancel that I'm not going to choose then.
Thank for helps smile.gif
