hi guys, another bad experience with maxis here.
yesterday i bought ip5 at MEPS Cyberjaya. during the unboxing of the package, the staff notice that there is a very obvious line on top of the screen. length around 2cm. its very big line and so obvious.

then, the staff told me that this set need to be send for warranty. wtf! im not even touch the phone yet, and they ask to to send for warranty!

i did argue about it and insist for the new set. but, staff said no.,, now, i spend 2k for nothing already and need to wait 14days to get my new ip5!

is that any black and white saying i can get on the spot replacement? if yes, can someone provide me link or watever it is for my reference?

no worries. they will give you a new 'refurbished' set. That's the standard protocol.

Mine's also 2 months old, and a week ago suddenly got call from Maxis telemarketer selling me the plan. So I think you can still subscribe to it, just call them.

Btw I'm not really keen on purchasing such plan, so I don't subscribe it.

Supposingly they wouldn't allow it after the phone leaves the shop.

But maybe try calling the telemarket like above said.

If you really are prone to lose your phone within these few months, or damaged the screen (choi!) then it's a good investment. Since you can stop subscribing it anytime.
But two months already.. Hmm.. Don't know. :/

Anyone tried data roaming on Singapore's Singtel's LTE network? How did you get it to work?

Is it a "pirated" lightning cable?
A few of my friends bought these cables and they claimed that some of these cables don't charge and when they do charge, it's also slower than the official one from Apple.

I'll be receiving more than two missed call in a days, why? Thanks to maxis, however the line signal is strong but I couldn't call out or even receive incoming calls. Sigh
Anyone had the same problem? I called to CS, and they suggested to turn on the airplane mode and close it. That's all.

Need some help here, still having the same issue
