Hi there,

first comer here,
May i know how will malaysia charges rate for custom tax for figures if i buy from GSC online shop?
depends on weight? product type? or value?
*
Depends on the value...Over RM500=TAX...It doesn't really matter if you buy from GSC or any other online shop... Also,if you're referring to scaled PVC figures, you should head to this thread: https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2839139...

Thanks for the clarification. basically i am refering to nendo buying from GSC online shop

btw, how do they judge the value of the products shipping in?
*
I've never actually been taxed myself, but here's what I know...The value of goods is calculated based on CIF (Cost, Insurance, Freight)...For example,a nendo costs 3000yen, and shipping cost 2000 yen...Total here would be 5000 yen/around RM170,so no tax there...Assuming the total cost+shipping exceeds roughly 15000yen/RM500 at current exchange rate, you'll be taxed at 10% of total... Oh,and GSC has a fixed shipping rate of 2000 yen per shipment, regardless of how many items you buy...Good if you're buying multiple items, not so good if you're getting just one...

GSC only uses EMS...That means Poslaju will handle everything in Malaysia...

Anyway, we all help each other out around here, so ask away... smile.gif
