I went for C85, not for figures.
Bringing back boxes of plastic isn't very ideal for holidays smile.gif

Thanks.
Going Akiba is an experience I think everyone in this hobby should strive for, at least once in a lifetime.
The experience is quite something else.
All those stories you hear about comic market being a battlefield and stuff; its all true. Everything.

And never worry about not getting a nendoroid you missed or a very old nendoroid in the past.
I think I've managed to see and find all numbers of the nendoroid in akiba, for reasonable prices too.

if u all dont mind me going off topic in this thread;

Have been (if I may say so with humility) a veteran CF go-er for almost 7-8 years, and not even all those people combined from those years will ever match up just one day of any comiket.
All pictures you see, can never fully express how many people are really attending it. It doesnt do justice to the number of attendees and sheer manpower of this biannual event.
Why? Cuz the line stretches and snakes for so long, possibly reaching the previous JR stations you we're suppose to get off for Big Sight.

Reached Kokusai-tenjijo Station, nearest to Big Sight, at 9am. Did not stop walking until 9.30, which was the end of the line into the West Hall.
Queued with my peeps 1.6km away from Big Sight. Had no view of the damn building, just the ever growing line of people.
Line moved at 9.50, preparing for the entire army to march for the main walk, which started at 10am sharp.

We only entered at 11+

After that is a series of 10,000 people entering East and West Halls per minute, and the waves of people carrying you.
I'm a huge guy, but this is a first I've been pushed off my feet and moved with the current of people.
Then congratz, you are in Big Sight.

Now go queue for a company booth that has as many people as CF people queuing to buy tickets on Day 1.
If you have no one to help you buy, you can consider 70% of your desired c85 limited good not possible to get, if you are lucky.
All those who watched Konata explain Comiket, or have seen similar anime regarding this biannual event; its an understatement.
Even my words above cannot fully describe my pilgrimage.

My only advice; Anyone related in this sub-cultural of Japan, must experience it once in a lifetime.

PS: All this describes only Day 1. The real shit for men happens on Day 3, but that's another off topic post I will leave for another day.
