after kira kira, i dont think getting the phone from DiGi is gonna do me any good also. Might as well get from AP importers. Paying the extra commitment and getting stuck with another 24 months contract is not a feasible thing to be at all. The discount is too marginal.
Expected more from DiGi really. |

QUOTE(super_evil_alien @ Jan 7 2013, 04:08 PM) I'm prepared to pay RM1649 for the Malaysian set but will not sign any contract with any carrier. That makes the 2 of us. Impulse Megastore has some stock but no warranty. Just got reply from them on my FB.unfortunately there's no seller with ready stock now. |

QUOTE(shadowcaster @ Jan 8 2013, 02:07 PM) You're right about the sports cards. they are indeed useful and cool at the same time...for those who can appreciate them. However, i don't really watch or follow football stuff. Speaking of which, does it detect Air Asia emails and flight details in my inbox? What i meant is Google Now is not as useful as it should be - like in the US where u can get all sorts of information which are more relevant. Heck we dont even have official support for Google Maps Navigation yet! |

QUOTE(azrash @ Jan 9 2013, 02:03 PM) iinm satu gadget is getting their stock from directd. both are reliable. i got my Desire Z from directd a few years ago and a friend bought his galaxy nexus from satu gadget, menara PGRM Considering to get from him also. But seeing this,http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2660634 http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...6911&hl=directd So.... Rooting the Nexus 4 voids the warranty as well? I'm aware that it does to HTC and Samseng phones la. What about the Nex4? and WTH is a "root counter" |

QUOTE(josh. @ Jan 9 2013, 02:37 PM) Root is to gain full access right to the kernal, once you rooted your phone, you can easily unroot it by (google search) online tutorials. I know what root means, I've been running Nexuses since the Nexus One. However, once you unlock your bootloader, you cannot turn it back to locked mode. Beware when you decide to unlock your bootloader, there should be a warning message from Google before you accept the terms and condition on the bootloader unlock page. You can re-lock your boot loader and it has always been possible to do so. But there have been reports that there's a binary counter that clicks everytime you flash your device in Samsung phones. Which is why i'm asking this question. EDIT: Was just wondering if rooting void is a policy with LG phones, and on top of all the Nexus 4 since its a developer device. Is there any screen protector that covers the whole screen?
looks ugly if it does not cover the whole surface. |

QUOTE(tskhang @ Jan 10 2013, 10:28 AM) The screen is curved at the sides. SP will not stick properly, thus creating bubbles or easy to peel off. I'm looking at my Nexus S now. Screen curve the SP peel a bit but far from coming out la. Quite sturdy there. Just can see some whitish edge. Better like that becoz my phone goes into my pockets with whatever junk i have inside. |

QUOTE(anarchy2cruo @ Jan 10 2013, 10:52 AM) The SP didnt cover whole screen. Exactly same as tcmean shown. Anyone bulking this? The normal screen protector cannot cover the curve part. Another alternative is to buy screen protector like Skinomi SP. This one u apply by using water provided. Like u apply tinted on ur car window. |
