What bait were you using at Ruskijang? Behind zoo negara there's 2 ponds if im not mistaken.

5000 reel with 100lbs line??
Saw a video,.. landed 40+kg TUN,.. was using 150lbs line with 500lbs steel leader.
you all shd check out the GT fishing video,.. quite funny.

mt fren frequent that mega grouper pond, he says more often than not, white fruit wo..only once in a while kena only. using 200lb mainline, u have to be damn kiasu hahaha

Can u take the fish back or cnr?

Pretty sure Goliath Grouper fishermen use 100-200lb line. But at 40kg it's a baby.

Should be cnr.
Well they reco anglers to use 40-50lbs braided mainline. N 80lbs leader.
Assumed nothing will go wrong.lol
