yeah bro .. still at work getting off in half an hour ... family needs to get out of the house
thanks, rory ... what is LM support? does MFM/MSM qualify as evildonkey mentioned? as far as i can from gloming forums, any compatible hardware will do and MFM is updated regularly .. just depends on individual needs that seems to be the entry level unit ... nuvi 40/40LM would love to get the one with the in-car cam ... but $$$$
No worries la. Just look for bro Rory, his d GARMIN man.he can get 80%discount. Muahahaha
ooops my bad .. left out the 'K' you're right bro inv, they're K guides
most of their stuff have price tags attached ... like how a yamaga blank rod is tagged rm1390 with 15% off ... it's worse in supermarts or hypermarts ....
some of my friends were raving bout micro guides a few years back ... no idea if they tried it or how it worked out i use quite thick leaders ... micros might not be suitable
40lbs-50lbs Have No problem casting 40lbs leader on the mgs stinger, Still I think it all depends on the leader ur using.
BTW guys,I'm looking for a mini full hd camcorder/video recorder. Any brands to intro?what's d price range like?

Is there a way to DIY using a phone camera? I couldnt find any diy online.
Should able to DIY It with a safety helm. But prob is nowadays smart phone wouldn't allow you to use It once it's overheated. Imagine fishing the whole afternoon under the hot sun, wouldn't wanna melt my phone.

sexayyyy .... anyone experience braid cutting into the lip below the line guide? if yes, any idea why, pls?
SiC (silicon carbide) will hold up the best under a braid's abrasion. Stainless steel guides will get grooves cut in them within a year if the rod is used heavily. Regular ceramic guides will last for a while but not as long as the SiC. A tungsten carbide tip will prevent a lot of wear to the tip. Works for guides also but are heavier and not so much in use nowadays but they can still be found. And tungsten is very brittle and can break if you drop your rod. Even mono will cut into a SS guide given time. And really not all that much time at that. But if you go out only once or twice a month, whatever guides you have should last for a few years at least.
