PG = power gear; lower ratio, slower but stronger retrieve for fighting strong fish
HG = high gear; higher ratio, faster retrieve
XG = if not mistaken, this is the new version with the X-gear; smooth and powerful at the same time

XG old version also got d, the latest 1 xtra smoother n xtra powerful.
