Since everyone is returning their iphone5 to apple online.... Everyone asking how and what to do... Hence i list out step to claim replacement set... (only applicable to those who order from apple online store)

Step 1:
Once receive your set from DHL courier, sign it and take time to slowly check whether there is any defect or not example scruff or sand sound when shake.... As you have 14days from the invoice date....

Step 2:
If your set is perfectly... Congratulations...
If your set having defect as the above hence give a call to apple customer service at 1800-80-6419... Their working hours is 9am-7pm monday- friday

Step3:
Prepare your order number at your side... Give a call press 2 then press 1... Once get to customer service, tell them that you have the defect set and wanted to make request for exchange... Write down the return number... Also make arrange date with them for the pick up.. Apple will not send u any email for the returning set...

Step 4:
Then write the return number on the iphone5 box..( many ppl asking about the brown box; if you throw away then tell the customer service that you throw away) they will ask u put into a bag or something like that.... (I just pass the iPhone box to DHL guy)..

Step5:
Wait DHL guy come and pick... If thy missed the time please call apple again...

Step6:
Once DHL come pick up, they will give a tracking number for the set... So there no worry of they receipt or anything...

Step7:
Once apple receive the set, they need one day for processing and they will send a new set the next day... With the new invoice and tracking number....

*anyone may worry that the replacement set will have some chance encounter defect again... The replacement set have 14days from the replacement set invoice.. So there need not worry about warranty claim for the replacement set*

Sure... The duration actually is vary and depend... Mine replacement request make on 27dec and on 31dec DHL come pick up then today apple send me trackin number....

While my company replacement request made on 24dec until now DHL haven come pick up and keep missed the schedule date and time...

One thing confirm is that once you make replacement request, u will need two working day for DHL come to pick up... Example u make request on Monday, apple will arrange on Wednesday for it...

Yes, you can check your return set thru your Apple account page....

I now got a tracking number for my replacement phone but status still shows - Reture Request Pending

I managed to find out there is one guy at DHL doing all these return stuff. He was suppose to check for me my return shipment but he hasnt got back to me yet since this morning.

This is only entitle for those who purchase from the Apple Website... If you stay at Singapore and purchase from Apple Singapore online website then you also entitle for it...

When I return the defect set what will happen to the warranty? Will it be changed to one year from the invoice of the new set or still the original date?
