nope u still can access their services using web browser in windows phone
bcauz they scare of competition mar

now many ppl change from gmail 2 hotmail, use bing n yahoo search instead of google ( 4illegal stuff lar ), microsoft office instead of google office etc

if they still make app for windows phone, they scare ppl will change to windows platform instead of using google service tat r not integrated in2 windows platform
bcauz flexibility of microsoft service
