According to Sony Mobile MY admin, Z will be coming in April. Then when a few people asked about ZL, they said it is coming as well.

QUOTE(redlyfs @ Jan 17 2013, 10:54 AM) I gotten a pink Arc S for my gf. So far no issues. I think Sony did pretty good job on it. My last phone on Sony was a P1i, upgraded from SE W810. P1 was a bit weird but W810 was an awesome phone. ZL is at the bottom. Been using other stuffs since then but from what I seen so far, I think Xperia Z won me over. Can't wait for it to officially launch. Only gripe I could think of is the front camera. Kinda weird for them to place it at the bottom. |

QUOTE(lonelywolf90 @ Jan 24 2013, 05:18 PM) I see that the Xperia Z has speaker on one side only, does this mean it's mono? I thought many flagships out there only have 1 speaker Good or bad? @_@ It's so close to perfect.. I also wonder if the Xperia Z will have a lot of custom ROMs.. Stereo headset/earphones output for sure would be there. This post has been edited by Eugene91: Jan 24 2013, 05:24 PM |

QUOTE(lonelywolf90 @ Jan 24 2013, 05:32 PM) I'm not so aware of this as well. But this came to my mind because of the speaker placement. Yeah the speaker placement doesn't seem to be the right place to be Naturally when we hold the phone, we might cover the speaker as well, so it will be muffled. I wonder if this is a big problem. Besides that, all are fine. Even better if the CPU is stock overclocked to 1.7GHz XD |

QUOTE(ckchan @ Jan 27 2013, 11:16 PM) actually it's quite a norm that sony xperia phone to have dedicated camera button. the water resistance xperia acro s does have dedicated camera button. even non water resistance phone like S, Ion and T/TX have dedicated camera button. not sure why sony decided not to include it in Z though Maybe because the 2 stage button will eventually wear out causing leaks? |

QUOTE(yujirorasy @ Jan 28 2013, 12:46 AM) how do we take picture in water if Xperia Z dont have dedicated button for camera ? the on-screen button will not work in pool, right ? It will work. My sister tried it with the Xperia Go. The screen is still responsive in water.I thought you would have seen the demo when Xperia Z was in water? |

Wasn't all the cameras on 'Auto' mode? That should be fair.
We all know Sony heavily process the images on their phones. GSIII, GNII and ip5 is using sony camera sensor but their image processing is different. I really do hope Sony does something about it. Also watched the video from Soyacincau (the shot inside KLCC) the Xperia Z kept on refocusing everytime the phone is panned.. This post has been edited by Eugene91: Feb 16 2013, 11:53 PM |
