I doubt sony price drop very fast bcause the spec isnt outdated like last time
But htc one x drops price very fast so it might be the same and s3 isnt as expensive as i thought after few months

agreed! what the use of a phone when it has the superior hardware but cant even be running on JB. this i LOLed hard at SONY. Samsung and HTC realised this and hence they are trying their very hard to update the older gen phone
cant be said of SONY. even though they have the closest working relation with JBQ, but their software look dated. nothing new to the game except for better spec.
the reason im attracthed to Z is that i can foresee that this will prob a dev friendly phone as more dev is abandoning exynos based phone project
if it is more expensive than note 2....SONY is digging their own grave.

well whatever, the fact is samsung kicking SONY arse left right centre no matter how hard they market it. marketing is what make the stuff cool. just like iPhone. its about the status, for SONY to catch up

I do purposely tryout Xperia V yesterday, it indeen really smooth and fast, and the screen was solid as well, at least it was in nice and correct color. Samsung always did to vibrant on the color. I know S III and Note II can change color profile but it was really useless, the standard too vivid, the natural too dull, that is not natural but dull.

Actually S III was fast but not really smooth, Samsung cannot proper make smoothest to S III and the most basic phone and contact cannot keep open in background, and take times to open.

Also the phone will reload the entire launcher after running heavy apps - example Google Chrome.

All this issue was gone if you use third party ROM (pure ROM like Nexus 4 Jelly Bean v4.2.1). I believe Samsung use too much RAM for the entire interface, and S III only 1GB which was not really enough for it.

All above issue was gone in Note II as Note II having 2GB RAM and I can't seen any launcher reload issue on my sister Note II.

I use too many Samsung phone, kind of bored of it not smooth interface (I want Samsung stock look), it was happen in S II and S III as well, and the build quality was ..... meh.... ok la.

And I also hate Samsung not release full doc. of Exynos chip to developer, this make a lot trouble to them on CM, and that the reason CM developer start switching now.

So I believe is time I switch to Sony soon.

well, i would only say that please bear in mind that there are alot of test. and all the test benchmark only test on certain aspect of the phone. example, like as in the Benchmark PI, it does not take multi-core into consideration.

so say for sure T/TX is faster than S3, maybe on certain apps, T/TX better while some other apps, S3 better.
Guess it's just better for each one of us to test it on our own.

if need high performance then the processor will use cortex a15
else cortex a7

and that what the hybrid means to ensure enough battery life @@

Xperia Z has 5" screen but the Butterfly use the dedicated touch sensitive menu buttons(bottom bezel area) whereas the Z use the bottom part of the actual screen itself.

Is this gonna be the disadvantage of the Z for having less viewing area?

i am struggling u see, my padfone 2 doesnt have that and i like it...

but seeing most phones like nexus 4 and xperia v has got the menu key taking up the screen area make it seems like it is a trend now....
