Water resistant, exactly 5', Jelly Bean, elegant body, 16GB internal + 32GB external, quad core 2GB memory... If true, these are what I actually looking for...

What do you guys expect its battery? How much is your minimum acceptable level?

For as people know about leakings news/info, Sony will unveal Sony Xperia Z & ZL. its very high specs in hardware and very fully intergrated with redesign software by Sony.. Its good news.. But i think it will come with midrange phone from Sony which are not in high specs.

in term of phone, people are just simply go look through the hardware like processor speed, ram, memory and more.. but that just part of hardware.. we should look on software and Operating system too..
1gb RAM, dual core processor, memory which with expandable microSD is the best (normal up to 32gb, a big storage for a phone).. this is very enough for all daily users..

For my opinion, Samsung is a greatest offer in hardware for handphone but not for software.. Operating system yes.. always up-to-date.. Sony focus on outlook of handsets, own software.. Hardware&operating system always slower than other competitors.. But Sony got its own iconic design and attractive..

Choose wisely among the phone.. but not in term of famous, latest, powerful device.. but in term of suitability.

agree with u.. battery life is the most importance things in handsets. in term usable..

Quad-core, 2gb ram, large memory is just an advantage.. i need surfing, SMS, phone call, use calculator, music, take phone, alarm, check time, dictionary, GPS navigation, some entertainment..

im not playing games all the time.. handset for me, SMS and calling is most importance.. in term of smartphone is able to multitasking in 1 devices. but not with the latest/powerful hardware.. moderate is enough..

The specs I'm referring to is not just processing power
It includes the battery, this phone won me over HTC butterfly is because the battery capacity...

Added on January 7, 2013, 1:42 amBattery capacity is just part of the equation of the battery usage
Other important stuff to look at is how b power hungry is the processor. Newer chip will consume less power than older chip too.
And how the processor heat does not affect the battery for over heating damage the battery greatly over time

i choose sony phone among all brand.. better attractive in design and software.. battery life normal.. 1 charge for every day.. dual core enough for me to do all multitasking.. but i like to view all latest device and may introduce to customers and friends..

For me, otha than good battery life, i needed a very minimal lag from my phone, my arc current hav a frequent lag. I wont expect a lag free, altho wit all the cores available from the xperia z, as android is yet to achieve the lag free even wit project butter, but a very minimal lag would suffice for me. Also another issue i suffered from my arc is lack of internal memory. I really cant wait for this phone to be launched asap. If the price less than 2k, i'll be among the d early adopter.

well, don't put your hopes too high as sony malaysia is known to be late in launching new product.

on the tx case, sony malaysia have yet to got stock. but then some seller already start selling ori set since last week, or two... 3rd party seller got ori stock earlier than sony malaysia??? weird... but if it's true, dunno what sony malaysia is doing... bravo sony malaysia rclxms.gif
