you mean midrange(huashan) also unveiling in CES??!! and launch end of Feb??!!! too good to be true lol, but definitely hope it is true!!!
For as people know about leakings news/info, Sony will unveal Sony Xperia Z & ZL. its very high specs in hardware and very fully intergrated with redesign software by Sony.. Its good news.. But i think it will come with midrange phone from Sony which are not in high specs.
in term of phone, people are just simply go look through the hardware like processor speed, ram, memory and more.. but that just part of hardware.. we should look on software and Operating system too..
1gb RAM, dual core processor, memory which with expandable microSD is the best (normal up to 32gb, a big storage for a phone).. this is very enough for all daily users..
For my opinion, Samsung is a greatest offer in hardware for handphone but not for software.. Operating system yes.. always up-to-date.. Sony focus on outlook of handsets, own software.. Hardware&operating system always slower than other competitors.. But Sony got its own iconic design and attractive..
Choose wisely among the phone.. but not in term of famous, latest, powerful device.. but in term of suitability.

2000 mah, if xperia V,
but now quad core i think i think 3000 mah will only satisfy me
Added on January 7, 2013, 1:04 ami think smart phones dosen't need so much processing power
in the end wat is gonna suffer is the battery only
agree with u.. battery life is the most importance things in handsets. in term usable..
Quad-core, 2gb ram, large memory is just an advantage.. i need surfing, SMS, phone call, use calculator, music, take phone, alarm, check time, dictionary, GPS navigation, some entertainment..
im not playing games all the time.. handset for me, SMS and calling is most importance.. in term of smartphone is able to multitasking in 1 devices. but not with the latest/powerful hardware.. moderate is enough..
