Sorry to hear that bro. Maybe you should try another router from TP Link this time? Hope that it is not someone using your PPPoE username and password as bro blacktubi say.

Is it possible the change my PPPoE password? How to do that?

Not possible unless TM changes it for you. You can’t do it yourself, so you have to call them to change it for you. Before I do that, I would get another router to try it one last time.

Try disable NAT Acceleration if you don't use any lan port.

Hope it help tongue.gif

But don't put too much hope of this router...
Firmware is shit since release, example from the first one until 380_7743 the router will random reboot around one weeks(or less), after 382_xxxxx firmwares wifi not stable when speed up to 100mpbs(feedback from other users) and if NAT Acceleration is enable the memory will leaking over time and then crash the router....

I wonder what happen to the AC1200G+

When I still have mine, it is still fine and I don't face any weird issue.

I guess people should get the RT-AC1300UHP directly now.

I guess there's something to do with Android devices and Chrome Cast. A lot of users are reporting issues with their wireless router if they have a Chrome Cast or Android device in their network.

My suggestion is to disable your chromecast if you have one until Google fix it.

Which one is your firmware that reboot with kernel panic message? 380_7743 or 382_18991?

Btw do you have any chromcast devices?
Because I just found out this articles, not sure is it related or not....Known Issue: Slow Wi-Fi performance with Android and Chromecast built-in devices and TP-Link Archer C1200 WiFi Disconnects Issue and Resolution

Erm...those info has been post by blacktubi....

Maybe those problem is because of defective product?
But cannot reproduce the problem during RMA test so just live with it....

both 380.7743 and 382.18991 with random reboot issue.

upgraded from 7443 to 18991 then downgrade back to 7443 again.
all upgrade and downgrade comes with factory reset , no added on USB devices or running any built in features.
it just apple and android phones connecting via Wifi (less than 10 devices in total) + one PC running on LAN.
i would say less streaming in my case , maybe some watching of videos on youtube.
no on going BT download.

Using N12 D1 and N12HP previously without any issue , but of course that is not an AC router
icon_rolleyes.gif

Will try to do some changes on Wifi setting , and see if it works.
meanwhile wait for Asus representative feedback laugh.gif

Already uploaded the System Log to ASUSMy but no response at all. I had the similar problem with the Dlink router provided by TM, started 2-3 months back. I thought I updated the Dlink firmware (that fix the security vulnerabilities) causing the problem. Then I bought this ASUS router to replace it but also facing the problem. Complain to TM is hopeless, they just keep resetting the port but this problem does not seem to be VDSL problem. Feel like switching to Maxis but I know Maxis also using TM's network. Not sure if it will help.

does ASUS RT-N66U rev.B1 support unifi IPTV? If i flashed to Tomato 3rd party firmware, does it still support as well?
*
Hi gsan,

Stock firmware are able to support the UNIFI IPTV, I believe it should work too as long you have the correct VLAN ID keyed in(this depend on the 3rd party firmware).

Thank you
