Going to purchase a RT-AC55UHP is it compatible with Streamyx 8Mb?
*
For Streamyx you need to select model name start with "DSL-xxxx"

Suggest you to get DSL-AC52U, it could support Streamyx and Unifi (in future if you have plan to upgrade to Unifi)

Hi largepants,

If you have updated the firmware, do factory reset and the problem still persist, it might be problem with the hardware.

Or you can try using rescue mode to restore and see the problem still persist or not.

Thank you
*
I tried factory reset again. Looks like the 5 Ghz is working now. I'll monitor it over the long weekend and see how it goes.

Thanks.

I see. I will be upgrading to Unifi fiber like a month from now, so I think might as well go with the AC55UHP. smile.gif

The RT-AC1200G+ is newer.

The RT-AC68U is double the price of the RT-AC1200G+. Has double the RAM and more than double the Flash memory. So it's more of budget question than "better value". Get the RT-AC68U if within budget.

No price page on the official website. Buy from authorized dealers on/offline.

Sometimes there is a lot factor on Wi-Fi.

It's might be wifi chip issue on laptop or router itself.

The best way is test via lan.

I am using ASUS Z97M-Plus Motherboard with Windows7 64bits Professional version.. Today I got the ASUS PCE-AC66U. From the picture below, as always I insert the Graphic Card in the Slot A (As my graphic card send for warranty so you can't see it hehe). Today, once I received my AC66U, I installed the PCE-AC66U in the Slot D. After install all the driver and restart, I cannot enter the Windows, keep loading at Starting Windows...

But, I move the PCE-AC66U from Slot D to Slot A. It worked! I can enter Windows and working normal. Can I know what wrong with the Slot D? Or I need to setting anythings there? I keep changing between Slot A and D. Same result, Slot D not working with PCE-AC66U.

Any sifu here any guide?

Hi jiaen0509,

May I ask, do you use any PCIe M.2 SSD on the motherboard?

Can go to the BIOS->Advanced->System Agent(SA) to check the PCIe setting.

Have you tried to update the BIOS of the motherboard to the latest? Version 2903.

Thank you

Hi ShinnKQ,

Maybe you can try updating the BIOS to the latest and try change the WiFi channel of the router.

What is the distance between your PC and the router?

Is there any obstacle between your PC and the router?

And as mention by jusbella, maybe you can try use LAN cable to test first.

Thank you

Hi jiaen0509,

From the BIOS image regarding the PCIe slot, it seen like it is not detected.

If the BIOS setting are all default, then there might be something wrong with the PCIe slot already.

Thank you
