My firmware version is 3.0.0.4.374_5517.
This is one version before the latest found on the official ASUS support website.
3.0.0.4.374_5517 was the latest version when I flashed mine in mid-August this year.
What firmware version is yours?

QUOTE(Sean J @ Dec 29 2014, 09:12 AM) my firmware version is 3.0.0.4.376_2224 Strange, your firmware version is not on the official ASUS support website. The latest version on the website is 3.0.0.4.376_3602 dated 7th November 2014. You should upgrade your router to this version. It is supposed to fix the NAT loopback issue. See description below....

QUOTE(theang123 @ Jan 31 2015, 05:23 PM) hi, i has just bought the rt-n12HP. can i know how many users can connect to this modem at one time? btw, i currently has 1 wiereless modem supplied by unifi, is it better if i use repeater mode or just use this one directly, my house sometimes got 15+ devices connected My ASUS RT-N12 D1 can support 13 wireless-N devices and 2 wired PCs simultaneously without breaking a sweat. Your RT-N12HP should have similar capability. Just make sure you have the QoS rules and priorities properly defined and you are good to go. One more thing, just REPLACE the Unifi-supplied wireless router with the ASUS RT-N12HP. Don't even try to connect your ASUS RT-N12HP to the Unifi-supplied wireless router.

Why are you eyeing the RT-AC87U? LOL!
You should eye the midrange RT-N18U.

QUOTE(emy_xvidia @ Aug 16 2015, 06:07 PM) care to elaborate? your said model is enough to extend the wifi range to upper floor? afraid too many walls therefore chance of signal weakening is high. The attenuation of the 5GHz band won't help to get a stronger wifi signal. Better use the 2.4Ghz band to get at those hard-to-reach places. I am using the entry-level RT-N21D1 and yet it is sufficient to cover my whole 2-storey house.

QUOTE(emy_xvidia @ Aug 16 2015, 06:56 PM) thanks for the reply. so even with your entry-level model, there's not a drop of speed even on wifi yar? i have multiple devices at home, so hopefully each of my devices can receive full speed on wifi Yes, there is no drop in wifi speed. Probably I don't experience a lot of channel interference on the 2.4Ghz band from my neighbours. You can use InSSIDer software to determine what wifi channel number is optimum to use for your home.

QUOTE(djhenry91 @ Aug 17 2015, 04:03 PM) i hope QOS can set like each pc gv certain speed or auto manage the speed for each pc and wireless device That is not QoS (Quality of Service). That is called bandwidth control.

QUOTE(ejat666 @ Sep 2 2015, 11:35 PM) Thanks for your response bro. I just notice this is 2 in 1 modem+router RT-AC68U - modem only DSL-AC68U - modem+router(mine) So the question is how do i connect unifi fibre optic cable..seems no port unlike stock modem You are really confused. Firstly, the RT-AC68U is a wireless router, not a modem. Secondly, the modem for UniFi is called a BTU. The fibre optic cable is connected to the BTU, not the wireless router. The wireless router's WAN port is connected to the BTU's LAN1 port using an Ethernet cable. Are you trying to replace TM's BTU with a wireless router? It can't be done.

QUOTE(calintztan @ Sep 10 2015, 10:48 AM) Hi, my stock router from streamyx have constant dc and now can't connect to internet. May I know any model suitable for gaming and streaming? My streamyx is 4mbs and hope the router is below rm160. You can get the all-in-one (ADSL/2+ modem plus wireless N router) Asus DSL-N12U.

Bear in mind that the cheaper DSL-N12E does not come with ASUSWRT firmware. The cheapest with ASUSWRT is still the DSL-N12U C1.

QUOTE(odin88 @ Sep 11 2015, 02:36 AM) Hi ! I am using RT-N14UHP I know there is a firmware update but it says cannot connect to Asus site to automatically get the firmware. I do not want to update manualy by getting the package and upload it I want it auto update like it was before. is it being fix right now ? Firmware version - 3.0.0.4.376_2671-gc75d0a3 The router cannot connect to ASUS server to check for the firmware update. After reconnecting to the Internet, go back to this page and click Check to check for the latest firmware updates. Is there really an automatic firmware upgrade feature? Last I checked, I need to download the firmware and select it manually before pressing the 'Upload' button.

QUOTE(ASUSmy @ Sep 11 2015, 09:20 AM) Hi raynman, You can try updating the firmware to the latest, the latest firmware now is Version 3.0.0.4.378.6975. You will be able to see a Check button beside the Firmware Version at the Firmware Upgrade page. If there is a new firmware version available, by clicking the firmware version at the top will also pop out a message asking whether you want to update the firmware version or not. Thank you Thanks for the heads up. My router is working perfectly with absolutely no problems at all. The highest uptime achieved was 122 days until I experienced a momentary TNB power trip. I am scared that the router stability may be affected after the firmware upgrade.

You have bought the wrong router for Unifi.
The DSL-N55U is a modem/wireless router meant only for Streamyx.

QUOTE(big1 @ Oct 6 2015, 03:18 PM) hello, is RT-N12 good enough for home use? condo 1400sf. the current unifi is not stable/signal not strong enough. It is more than good enough. I am using an ASUS RT-N12D1 (bought at Lazada for RM119) for my 2,300+ sq ft 2-storey house. You have to put it at a high location (like the top of a rack) for the wireless-N signal to pervade the house. I am getting signal even in my car porch, and the router is at the back of the house on the first floor. I bought it to replace the stupid TM's Innatech RG4332 from day three.
