What timeframe did they give you when you sent in your item? I usually have quite good experience with Best Point. If they say 2-4weeks or 4-6weeks, usually the item is ready early. I've sent in stuff from Gigabyte, Mikrotik, WD, Seagate, D & TPLink, etc... However never Asus since I seldom buy Asus.

The only time I had a problem was with a Transcend flash drive. That was solved by going straight to the distro in Amoda.

I plugged in my 1TB My Book WD but it cannot detect, it is on FAT32.

I plugged in my thumdrive - router detect immediately, it is also on FAT32.

Currently using RT-N16 and recently just upgraded my unifi to advance plan 30mbps. I run speedtest on wifi unfortunately download rate can reach at 20mbps only while on LAN test I can reach up to 30mbps. May I know why this would happen? Do I need to touch certain setting on wifi config? Thank you.

hi guys my rt-n56u suddenly have problem connection with LAN connection, unable to get an IP from the router, if use WIFI to connect it's fine I can even go into the web configurartion page from my phone, but if using LAN, it unable to get an IP from the router with DHCP on, if I set manual also cannot connect,what could be the problem, tried resetting it also same, time to change to router?

I'm using Asus RT-ac68u. It has been working fine for a year and a half until it's decided to go wonky on me last nite.
Mainly, it's the wifi connection. I have to hold my iPhone next to the router to get signal, take a few steps back and it will disappear. Have tried rebooting and factory reset. I'm running on the latest firmware.
Lan line works fine, only wifi. Please help! Thank you on advance

It's the Best Buy version of RT-AC68U that comes with 1GHz processor
It's on it's way to Malaysia now

I will be flashing to Asuswrt-Merlin once it arrives
There won't be any issue using it with UniFi right?

may I ask whats the problem with my ASUS RT-N12HP B1 router. I'm on UNIFI 30mbps. Used LAN Cable i get constant 30 - 32mbps but when use wifi and only placed next to the router like 1.5m away only getting 9 - 15mbps, why ahhhh?

Need to upgrade my router? or setting problem? BTW my house got like 8 or 9 devices connected at night, But when I did the test i changed the wifi password so only 1 device is connected to test also on latest firmware from asus support site.

The firmware version 3.0.0.4.378.4850 is the latest for the RT-N56U.

May I know after reboot also same problem? If yes, do save your setting and do a factory reset.

i'm planning to upgrade my UNIFI router to ASUS AC type router.
Need some advise, Planning to upgrade AC type router from ASUS.
My UNIFI is 10mbps.
my concern is :

1. Is my 7 years old Dell inspiron laptop able to connet to new AC router?
2. will my New sony smart tv able toconnect to this network?
3. How about smart phones?

My house is double story link hs, signal currently poor using Tp-link basic router.

Please advise , not prefer very expensive models range below RM500.00

I have a RT-68U and the Lan port no. 4 does not seem to be working. The Led lights is on but any devices connected to this port could not access the internet or local network. I have tried a few different devices eg PS 4, Synology NAS, and even the smart TV, all of which coould not access the newtrok. I have tried to use diffrent cables as well, but they are failed to join the network. However, if change to different port, they all can join connect to the network.

Any assistance that you could offer. By the way, the router is still under warranty. But I am think to try to solve this problem first rather than RMA.

Hi guys i experience something very unusual.

i have been using RT-AC66U for long time. i just recently bought a new phone Xiao Mi 8. when i connect using 5Ghz the whole internet will shut down and reconnect. it happened almost everytime i try connect it with my phone.

i am using latest firmware. at first i thought is my phone problem but when i am in company there is no such issue. it connects just without resetting the whole internet so i am now confuse. Anyone face same issue??
