Hi kevin66,

Yes you need to set up the ASUS router to connect to unifi first. Do refer to the youtube I gave you.

Thank you

Hi,

I would like to find out in Asus RT-AC66U why cannot block the network client's access to my network:

I followed the following steps:

Managing your network clients

To manage your network clients:

1. From the navigation panel, go to General > Network Map tab.

2. On the Network Map screen, select the Client Status icon to
display your network client’s information.

3. To block a client’s access to your network, select the client and
click block.

My question is why cannot select the client and where to click the block?

Please advise. Thank you.

Hi tomboyed, this instruction is for older version of GUI. For the new one ASUSWRT, you can set it at the wireless MAC Filter. You can refer to the below link for the dummy UI.

Thank you

I have managed to get into Asus GUI panel at 192.168.1.1 but the internet status is always disconnected. No matter what I do it's always disconnected.

I used LAN cable to connect to my computer.

Very frustrated, can use it at all.

What do I need to do to get it connected.

please help.

Hi kevin66,

Do you mind providing me the setting file from your router? I will PM you my e-mail address.

You can save it under Administration-->Restore/Save/Upload Setting.

Thank you

Hi,

I think the problem is the username and password of Unifi. Its said invalid username or password when it tried to detect internet connection.. Isn't the username and password are the one that I used to log-in Unifi to pay bill?

Hi,

just bought a N66 router to replace the TM router for Unifi. What are the steps and setting changes recommended in order to make sure everything is running at its optimum?
Do i need to register to product to get the warranty?

The Unifi Internet password is not the same as the occ.unifi.my where you login to pay the bill.
Looks like you have to call the Unifi tech support to retrieve your Unifi password.
