At router configuration page, at LAN setup change the IP there. I have changed to 192.168.0.1 to access my router in future.
and DHCP range is from 192.168.0.2 onwards

Now I can access it via router.asus.com or 192.168.50.1 (haven't change my ip).

Except on the second screenshot I did not enable smart control.

I'm now on another computer in the same network, I can access to my router both via ip 192.168.50.1 and router.asus.com
Luckily I installed the Asus Router app on my phone, it's from there I realised the new ip of my router just now.

Right after I added router.asus.com as domain name, I think within a minute I already can access it with the domain name.

By the way I'm running on the latest official firmware 3.0.0.4.384_10177

Last night some of my devices cannot login via router.asus.com , but some can.
Then I realise that those that could not access is because they had custom dns on them.
Once I remove them then I can access it with router.asus.com again.
Remember to clear your dns cache each time when you change the dns settings to see the effect.

Did you flush your dns ?
On windows it’s something like ipconfig /flushdns
I actually did that on my macbook, need to flush dns then it works.

Also did you try on your other device like phone or tablet to see if router.asus.com works?

I’m also very curious why it didn’t work on your end now.
I have another windows desktop at home, later I try and play around with it.

I have similar problem after updating latest firmware for TUF AX3000. All xiaomi devices cannot connect, even after I separated the 2.4 & 5Ghz. I opted to revert back to previous firmware and it solves the problem.

Don't buy TUF AX3000. There's wifi dropping issues. Others maybe ok as per suggestions by blacktubi.

Me too, never had wifi dropping issue. TUF AX3000 really has good coverage. My house, ground floor 40 x 95 feet and 1st floor 65 x 30 feet, all well covered, solely by the router, without need any mesh system. Lowest speed tested in the weakest area is over 70Mbps 😊

Been using TUF AX3000 paired with AX3000 for mesh setup, for around 3 months as well. The connection reliability is solid.
I needed mesh as TUF alone cannot reach very end corners of my house. Pair them both, im getting minimum 250Mbps around the house.

Hi guys, I recently purchased a new Asus RT-AX3000 router for Unifi 800mbps plan. Did the setup and all with no problems, but I was trying to access the router settings page via router.asus.com and also via the IPv4 address which is 192.168.50.7, but still turns up as 'This site can't be reached'. Want to know is there any other way to access the settings page?

Unfortunately, TUF-AX3000 don't have that option yet.. But its weird that AX56U and AX55U have that option already.

No wonder you don't have. It is only on the latest 386 version firmware.
