yes i am, is there any problem when using it? because its affecting all computers, AFAIK only few of users on my home are using the google DNS , not all are using the DNS.

it is happening again,
especially when its raining.
and around 7pm usually daily for no reason.

is there any fix?
is downgrade the firmware an option?
*
Ok that rules out Google dns then. Do you have a backup router to test out?

To those whose using AsusWRT Merlin, 376.48 Beta 1 has been released.

Changelog:
CODE
376.48 Beta 1 (18-Oct-2014)
  - NEW: Merged with Asus 376_2769 AC87 GPL
  - NEW: Enabled numerous modules in net-snmp (based on the list
         used by OpenWRT)
  - NEW: Added postconf and custom config support for snmpd.conf
  - NEW: Added HID support to ARM kernel (AC56,AC68,AC87)
  - CHANGED: Reverted NAT loopback code to Asus', since our own
code is currently broken by recent FW code changes.
  - CHANGED: Updated openssl to 1.0.0o, resolving a few security issues.
  - CHANGED: Disabled SSLv2 and SSLv3 support for https access to the
router webui.  IE6 users, your time is up - upgrade.
TLS 1.0 is now the only supported method.
  - CHANGED: upgraded main Samba server from 3.0.x to 3.6.24.  This might
cause a slight drop in performance, but should improve
             both reliability and security.
  - FIXED: DNSFilter client list dropdown would sometime be empty.
  - FIXED: DNS queries run on the router were forwarded to upstream
           nameservers instead of dnsmasq
  - FIXED: Re-added the USB HID kernel module needed for UPS monitoring
           (patch by ryzhov_al)
  - FIXED: Incorrect top margin on some pages such as AiCloud, and
stretched font on the progress splash (Asus bug)
  - FIXED: URL and keyword filtering wasn't working under certain
           situations when CTF was enabled
  - FIXED: Mac Filtering wasn't working with Guest networks
           (Asus bug) (Patch by saintdev)
  - FIXED: Chosing a client on the MAC Filter page wasn't properly
filling the Name field.  Also reorganized layout a bit.

The reason why I can't ping my Zoom at 192.168.1.3 is
because it was on port 4 of the RT-N66U which is configured
with a VLAN 600 for IPTV.

I tried to do a manual configuration to remove this VID 600
on the LAN port 4 because I don't use the unifi IPTV but
I can't.

Kindly advice.
*
Changing the ISP profile from unifi home to unifi-business on the LAN-IPTV tab,
I can now use port 4.

Thanks ASUSmy! thumbup.gif

One more silly question, after updating to this new ASUS RT-N12 C1 firmware, it supports Unifi IPTV on the 4th port without requiring any configuration, right? tongue.gif

Hi cyclone2,

May I ask, are you able to log in to the download master interface? If yes, is the torrent are uploading or downloading?

Can you try disable and enable back the download master at the USB Application section?

If still cannot, try disable the download master and go change the name of the folder in Samba. You can do it by enabling the AiDisk and go to advance mode to rename the folder.

Can you provide me the 3 folders from the Download2 and e-mail to me? I will pm you my e-mail address.

1. config
2. Seeds
3. .logs (Hidden folder)

Thank you

In fact I did reformat my external HDD and reinstall the Download Master application, thought it will resolved the issue.
When 1st adding the torrent file, i can see the job was running fine, however after sometime I relogin download master again, then all the job is gone, can't see any torrent file running.

I will send you the file asap as I'm outstation now.

Thanks.

Hi ahchun,

DSL-N12U B1 and DSL-N12U C1 are different in term of hardware version, you will need to use back their own firmware.

And you won't be able to to flash the firmware from C1 to B1 and vice versa.

Thank you

Your RT-AC87U will run cooler if it stands vertical like RT-AC68U.
