Dont forget ASUS AX11000 router costs RM2000+

The XT12 is basically 2 units of AX11000 router.

Definitely will give it a pass if cost more than RM2000+ biggrin.gif
But if u look at Asus AX6000 router (RT-AX88U), it cost almost the same with XT8 2pack.

I just notice the XT12 got better specs than the GT-AX11000 as well.

ASUS put in the latest 2.0Ghz CPU from Broadcom with all new 5Ghz radio. Not to mention dual 2.5G port.

It will be a ridiculous product and probably the fastest mesh WiFi or wireless router in the market.

I wouldn't be surprise as the spec is enterprise grade AP territory.

Perfect product for those looking to get 1Gbps speed on wireless backhaul.

Then, it's shouldn't be a surprise if the price here in the range of RM3000+ to RM4000+
Selling price in US for ET12 is US$899.

High hopes on that. Hope it doesn't disappoint.

My concealed Ethernet cable is damaged so wireless backhaul is my only choice.

The best I can manage with wireless backhaul was DL 606.09 Mbps; UL 662.24 Mbps.
How about you?

I am getting similar to your result.

Slightly faster (700 DL) if tested on my PC connected to mesh node using Ethernet cable (still wireless backhaul).

I have a TUF 5400 as Main and intend to add a WiFi 6 router to be connected with Cat 6 cable, to be place d on second floor of my bungalow. It will be some 25m away cable length apart. There will be two units of AC68U as wireless node. Which Wi-Fi 6 Asus model will you recommend?

Any XT8 user here using smart connect? My XT8 with smart connect enabled is facing constant connectivity dropping (every 5-10s) for devices on the 5GHz, but no issues for devices on 2.4GHz. The 5GHz becomes normal again when smart connect is disabled.

Frustrating when u buy a mesh wifi but cant utilise the mesh feature.

Hi krofal,

Maybe the default rules doesn't suit your environment, you can try tweak the rules for the Smart Connect.

I'm using GT-AX11000 with two XT8 as nodes and not enable Smart Connect feature. I'm happy with this setup.
