ASUS routers are designed to give you the best possible WiFi coverage, and in most cases a single ASUS router will deliver smooth, reliable WiFi to every part of your home. But WiFi coverage can be affected by many factors: room layout, construction materials, and even furnishings! If your home has dead spots or unreliable signals, ASUS AiMesh is the answer! AiMesh is an innovative new router feature that connects multiple ASUS routers to create a whole-home WiFi network. It’s a powerful and flexible way to solve your WiFi problems that also makes the most of your existing hardware: you can mix different ASUS router models, so when you upgrade there’s no need to throw away your old router — you can use it to expand your AiMesh network! AiMesh gives you time-saving central control over all the routers, and seamless roaming capability means you never need to switch networks. AiMesh is WiFi you can rely on — for all your devices, all the time!

Hi. Is the RT-AC66U already on sale in Malaysia? If so, where can I get it? What about the PCE-AC66? Is there a bundle for both of them? I am planning on getting this router very soon, and would prefer to get it in Malaysia if the price is comparable to getting it overseas.

Hi Traveler,

Yes Malaysia already started selling RT-AC66U. As for the PCE-AC66 we will start selling within this month.

As for the promotion, we are still discussing on that. And for your information, this 2 item only provide local warranty only.

And may I know where is your current location?

Thank you

I plan to get RT-N53 (Broadcom), do you have any guideline for UNIFI setup? Does the latest firmware suport UNIFI?

Hi jimz97, this model does support UNIFI. And it is advisable to update the firmware to the latest. Below is the to the latest firmware.

http://support.asus.com/Download.aspx?SLan..._VER3004264.zip

It is very easy to set up the UNIFI, when you choose your connection type which is PPPoE, at the bottom of the selection, you can see there is a check box for special requirement for ISP.

Once you tick the check box, at the right side will come out a list of ISP for you to choose. Once chooses the ISP, follow the next step to complete the setup.

Thank you

Hi Neo|ofGeo, you can try either the 2 PCI-E below. PCE-N53 is newer and it is using dual-band.

PCE-N53 (Ralink) - RM149
PCE-N15 (Ralink) - RM89

If you want the device to be use on other desktop or laptop, USB adapter will be best for you. And USB-N53 also using dual-band.

USB-N53 (Ralink) - RM189
USB-N13 B1 (Broadcom) - RM79
USB-N10 (Ralink) - RM59

Thank you

Hi Neo|ofGeo,

In order to fully use the PCE-AC66, you will need a router with standard 802.11ac. Without this standard, it will run at standard 802.11n/a/b/g speed depend on the router.

One of the example is RT-AC66U or other with the same standard.

Thank you

Hi there, I've been using the RT-N56U for close to two years on UNIFI and it has been exceptional. However, Ive switched to Maxis Home Fibre Internet and the VOIP function is not supported on the RT-56U. Any plans to make a firmware update to make this happen so that I can continue to use the RT-56U again? Many thanks.

Hi Asus Support Team

I tried the new update Version 3.0.0.4.318 for NT56U, notice it is not UNIFI friendly, need to have the router update multiple times with restore the backup few times only it will detect UNIFI, then couple of restart the router, connection dropping.

Using DSL-N12U B1.
Problem:
-Drop wireless connection very regularly. Annoying when streaming video or playing games.
-All wireless device get drop. Can't connect to router in a certain period, must restart router or wait at least 5 minute.
Any solution?
